Fauna wants signatures

Hi Fauna came up to me today and asked me to get her signatures from another town to "Ban Bubble Gum on Benches". I have really high friendship with her so I'm hoping that she'll give me her picture as a reward. Can I visit anyone's towns? My friend who I was originally going to get them from is not available.
