Trading Fauna the Normal Deer for Poppy

I recently got Fauna and I don't seem to like her all that too well, considering I had her in my cycling town and had my time spent with her there. I'd like to trade her for Poppy, she hasn't pinged yet but I'm working on it since I'm stuck at 10 villagers with Sally and Purrl refusing to move out.
