Ladies, please help me with your fashion knowledge!

I've been trying for weeks now to assemble some outfits for my female character but I failed every attempt so far. Please share your fashion suggestions so she can look cute and loveable, as always.

First off, my character. I based her on the female New Leaf mascot, the one with the pink ponytail. I assembled that exact same Ridding Hood outfit but I soon replaced the dress with the Overall Dress. I really like this outfit, but it appears to be the only loveable outfit I can make. A yellow hair ribbon gives a nice touch to it all.




The second outfit I tried was the wedding outfit. Unfortunately the game only "selects" a dress and an accessory, no stockings or shoes. I used white stockings and ballet shoes, but it looks a bit weird imo.



A third outfit I tried was the milkmaid dress. Here I also failed to make it complete with shoes and stuff.



Please share your comments and thoughts on these outfits, or suggest another outfit design. I can't accept QR designs though since this character already used 10 slots for path designs.

I would use black mules for the wedding outfit.. I wouldn't know anything else I'd do. Because my fashion sense is even worse than Gracie Grace's and I wear the white patent shoes with EVERYTHING.

Look at the dress selection on MoridB.com. I have all the reorderable dresses and if you see something you like, I'll order it. The shoe selection is pretty awful. The cat dress and cat cap is really cute and so is the bunny dress and hood.

I really like the first outfit! However, I think the other two are kinda meh.. :c

I'm thinking maybe the maid dress or plaid cami dress would look nice? My character always wears a qr and boots lol

I really like the straw hat from the island or the straw boater! Maybe it'd look nice on her? O:

Shirt + Pants are also a possible combo, yes. Dresses always go with stockings I think because socks or bare foot doesn't really suit it.

Hair colouring is also no problem. Perhaps blue hair + blue pumps would suit the wedding outfit?

I also keep forgetting that I have an Elegant Hat in my museum. I'm thinking of using that once Spring comes.

The third and the first one are cute!
Maybe the first would look better with a yellow/white/red flower instead of the bow? I like the shearling boots with it. ^.^
Thick glasses add a cute nerdy look to some outfits. Personally, I'm a fan of the Funny Glasses. ^_^
AS for shoes, white patent for the wedding dress, black mary-janes for the milkmaid?

The first one is really cute! My mayor is currently wearing a mini crown, overall dress, striped socks and purple pumps, with. Pink ponytail. I personally think it looks really cute.

Well, I have a lot of official uniforms(I like them all, plus they look fancy). I'm currently wearing the tuxedo+black formal pants combo with top hat+monocle(and black tights+black rain boots for legs but the tights aren't really visible and I'm looking for tasseled loafers because black loafers isn't official and boots doesn't really fit), although the trench coat looks pretty slick with shearling boots with black tights inside. Maybe throw in a floppy hat too.

I'm also considering dogtooth dress(the black-white one, not the tan) with black tights and either monochrome shoes or white patent shoes(white boots would be better but there's no white boots).

With the pink ponytail and no QR codes, here are some suggestions:-
- If you are really confident that you want dresses, the dollhouse dress which is a tank dress, along with your elegant hat and some tropical sandals or maybe some kimono sandals would work. Also orange sandals are similar.
- Another, more wintry idea fitting the criteria above, is the sweater dress along with tortoise specs if money isn't a concern, and a combination of white stockings and brown pumps or perhaps shearling boots?
- Also, for a more Japanese theme, you have kimono sandals and a blue ribbon, red ribbon or yellow ribbon and you can mix and match them with any of the following! Blossoming dress, casual outfit, chima jeogori dress, kimono, spring kimono.
- If you don't mind wearing trousers or shorts, I would recommend a beaded shirt with brown formal pants, round glasses, white lace socks although these aren't necessary because they'll be covered by santa boots or black rain boots.
- If you are willing to transfer pathing patterns to a pattern mule, even better. Then, there would be a range of better dresses and all else at your fingertips and there'd be a lot more to work with!

~ Pink polka dress, purple pigtails, black rose in mouth.
~ Black denim pants, beaded shirt, black ponytail
~ Kimono, gold rose in mouth, purple pigtails, yellow hairpin
~ Hairbow wig, black denim pants, kiwi shirt
~ Overall dress, crown, blue hairpin

Pekoe sold me her shirt, and I turned it into a Spring outfit.




I also tried dyeing my hair but blue looks really weird.
