What are your opinions on them? I personally think theyre lifesavers. I don't really care about authentic cards or collecting cards I just want the RV's and Villagers

I have a few. I didn't want to search high and low for the amiibo figurines of the extra WA villagers, so I just got the 9 pack custom cards from Etsy. Much cheaper and works just as well. Even though my 1-WA and Sanrio series cards are all authentic, if I wanted to get fanmade or custom cards, I honestly would have no problem doing so, especially since scalpers are making everything so hard. If you have the option to get fanmade, I say go for it. I did, and it made my world much easier.

I got a nice fanmade Sanrio set from Etsy, although I already had Etoile's legit card.

They are very well made, and work like the real deal.

I was actually just looking at Etsy with these today. I think they're wonderful! they certainly save people a ton of money because of how high the prices are for the authentic cards. my friend actually has a couple and they work perfectly fine for her. I've been thinking about purchasing the fan made sanrio.

I honestly cant wait to scrounge up $20 to get sanrio cards. its a waaayyy better deal than $200 lmao

I got my Sanrio set from Etsy (along with a few cards I don't want to shell out 20-30 dollars individually for), and it's soo much better than buying the real deal unless you care about authenticity. They work exactly the same, so I don't mind.

The only drawback is that they are a little flimsier than the actual cards, but the seller I got them from ships them in protectors c:

I have a few, including the full sanrio set. I'm super grateful for them because I was able to get my dreamie very easily for fairly cheap. The authentic cards are all so expensive online, especially for popular villagers (marshal sells for like $50+, as opposed to a fan-version of his card being $5) and it's just not worth it imo to buy actual legit cards anymore because you can't really find them for average prices thanks to all the scalpers and everything. :/

I don't own any of those fanmade cards, but it's really great that there is such a cheap alternative and
they also look pretty good. If I look at the prices for amiibo cards, especially of the Sanrio ones, then I
could scream. Most of them are so ridiculously expensive, that's why I don't even start to collect amiibo
cards at all. It's good to now that there is a good and cheap option like these fanmade cards. Maybe I
will buy some of them in the future.

I don't own any myself, but from hearing from others, they work well which sounds amazing, I might buy the sanrio cards the special cards like cece because there is no chance I can get the original from anyone. I'm getting excited about it already XD
Nintendo doesn't seem to be bothered either.

Mine are thick!
If it wasn't for the back where the NFC chip is, they could almost pass for the real thing!

No complaints from me! I have the 6 Sanrio cards and all 50 WA cards from Etsy.
The artwork is a little blurry, the color might be a little off, and the card is flimsy... but we put them in a binder in those plastic card protectors.
Paid much less than the eBay going price. Love them!
We're thinking of getting more.
But all of our Series 1-4 are real cards from mystery packs or eBay.

I have the official set of RV cards and fan-made sets of the Sanrio and specials. All of them work well and look good. Actually, I think the fan-made cards are sturdier and feel more durable.

I'd definitely go that route to fill in holes in my collection or if I was looking for a specific villager.

I have two, I got them off etsy because my Etoile was stolen by someone I thought I could trust... :/ So I had to get a replacer for her, and I got Feylene as well.

aww! :( I'm sorry that happened to you. I had cards stolen from me too, it sucks. Glad you got her replaced, but a pox on the person who decided to steal from you.

well shoot, I guess I bought from the wrong seller? xD they also don't have anything on the back save for the NFC chip so they look kind of weird in my collectors book.

Mine had the front card, the chip at the back, and a protective layer.

The printing job was superb!
Shiny too! ^_^

the only problem I have is that they're thinner so I get a bit nervous when handling them.

there's CrossingStore and AmiiboCrafts if I recall their names correctly

I?m torn when it comes to fanmade amiibo cards. The price can?t be beat when compared to what people are charging for popular and Welcome Amiibo/Sanrio/rare cards. However, not knowing the process behind how they?re made, I?m wary of them and there would always be the worry in the back of my mind that since they?re not official, if I scanned them in they might corrupt my save. I?m unsure whether I?ll ever actually purchase any because of that, and also because ideally I would only ever need to use the card once or maybe twice if someone moved out accidentally so it seems like a waste of money. Only time will tell for me though, I?m trying to complete my towns by acquiring all the remaining dream villagers I hadn?t gotten yet and there are barely any cycling threads these days.
