I just found out something recently, which may be of interest to anyone who is into having flowers on their beaches.

Short story short, falling over at the clifftop edge will trample the flowers at the bottom.

I'm not sure if I understood that correctly but when you fall off the cliff, you're supposed to go straight to the water right? You won't be able to jump if there's still a sand below. Like when you choose to dive from the cliff instead of going to the beach or what you mean is that while going down the ramp then fall over (because of bad luck), there's a possibility that you'll trample the flowers? All I know is that you could trample the flowers if you plant them on the edge of the ramp even if you just walk by them. Kinda like when you plant a flower close to the entrance of the campground.

Nah, I mean that if your character falls over at the top of the cliff (as in it's an unlucky day or whatever), I guess it must also count as falling over at the bottom for some reason.

I'm sure my incredible art skills will explain it.

Kinda hard to explain, lol.

Oh I get it. Nice discovery lol it's just funny to think about that they get trampled even if you literally didn't touch them.

Awe that sucks but I love this drawing that you drew :)

Thanks. I really poured my heart into it and if anyone claims this isn't truly art, then I don't know what is. The sea really gives the image a three-dimensional look. Nintendo needs to hire me to do the artwork for Animal Crossing Switch as if the box art looked like this, it would certainly attract more attention that usual to the game.

whoa whoa whoa.....waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaait one second here...one can FALL OFF A CLIFF??!!!!!?!?!?! how is this NOT something ive been aware of till NOW!? One of my Human Villagers, in my main village, CRIBBET, is incredibly clumsy at times (I think its partially due to his all night gaming, drinking, watching old movie ragers him and Bruce have ) how is it he has never fallen off any of the cliffs??? he has stumbled and fallen flat upon his handsome lil face but that's it!

Nah, you can't fall off unless you use holes to force your character over the edge, although I think that may have been patched. Flower trampling still works, though. :p

Thank you for being another appreciative person of my splendid art skills. I will wear this E with pride.

Yeah they're basically connected, I've done this before, also if you have a path on the cliff to where it sticks off you can see the flowers through it... it's weird. Tripping also pops balloons if you're holding one. =[
