I just started watching it. I'm like up to episode 130 something? I like it, It's awesome but there kinda isn't a plot? aha and the fact that Gajeel doesn't even get freaking the same dragon ability as Natsu and Wendy and the others sucks :-(

Well, I mean, Gajeel has all the same spells! Oh and wait til you get to the Grand Magic Games Arc- It's the best part ever!

I love/d fairy tail. Well I stopped reading tartaros but only because I can't get it out of my head when the chapter ends and I have to wait for a week for it so I put it on hiatus until maybe the arc finish? I haven't watched since edolas though and I don't think im planning to since I remember like pretty much everything and the fillers aren't my thing (except nalu moments) I see a lot of hates for it but I think it's pretty funny and I guess just not a good idea to compare to other manga/anime?

Anyway, I love Lucy the most... Cobra, Jellal, and Bixlow are also my favorites :')

And I don't like Minerva....... She's pitiful but I still don't feel anything for her

I love Fairy Tail! I haven't read or watched it in a while though, so I'll definitely have to catch up at some point. I've read a lot further into the manga in comparison to where the anime is now, so I don't know when I'll ever get around to watching the anime episodes that I've already seen in the manga.

My favourite characters are Gray & Juvia. <3

Doesn't Fairy Tail have a bunch of characters based on the western zodiac? I really really enjoy that kind of characters. Are they main characters or just side-kicks?

I may start reading the Fairy Tail mango as soon as I'm done with my other mangos.

I honestly feel like Fairy Tail is overrated. It was great when I first started it, but it quickly became too repetitive. I also didn't want to continue reading the fan service; it was just really demeaning towards women.

I know what you mean about the women part, but I don't really mind.

I watched about 12 episodes on netflix, it gets really old after a while though. It's decent but a tad overrated, I don't understand how you think its underrated, HAVE YOU SEEN ITS FAN BASE?

I didn't really like it at first, but my friend forced me to continue, and I find it much better as it progresses.
I absolutely love it now.

Possibly the worst anime to ever exist to be honest. I find that some american cartoons have a better plot than Fairy Tail and that's just sad. Fairy Tail might as well just be classed as a forgettable ecchi anime and that's all.

Are you kidding?

The word 'ecchi' has been adopted by fans of Japanese media to describe works with sexual overtones.

Lemme name a few times I remember:
1) Lucy in a cat suit
2) Lucy naked in a waterfall
3) Lucy getting her clothes ripped off in some way (happens like 60853 times)
4) Erza/Lucy in a maids costume
5) Erza in a nurse costume
6) 90% of Erza's armor
7) the entire female cast in bikinis
8) Lucy in a wedding gown and ripping it off. (or maybe she just ripped off the fancy gown that one time, idk I was distracted by the lack of clothes)
9) the constant and various camera angles that focus on Lucy/Erza/FemaleCharacterWithHugeBoobs in ecchi like ways

The fanservice overshadows the actually plot, wasn't natsu trying to find a ****ing dragon? One hundred episodes and he hasn't even found a clue. Steve from Blues' Clues finds more in a episode than Natsu has in the entire show.

I feel the same way. I really do love some of the characters, but the obnoxious fan service and their terrible portrayal of female characters makes it really difficult to watch after a while.
