It's only just now that I got to use the warp pipe and to get it out of the way, I like how it functions! Moving onto what I want to talk about, I noticed something very minor after I used the warp pipe. Nothing game breaking. After when I jumped out, I felt something was a little off. It turns out the camera is always in a fixed position to your character whichever way you're going. Compare it to how the camera normally works. Usually, it stays stationary for a little bit when you go in the opposite direction before it follows your character. It's hard to describe it in words but try it for yourself by looking closely at how the camera moves after you use the warp pipe compared to when you don't use it at all. As for the fix, it's simple. Just enter any building and the camera should be back to normal. Again, it's nothing game breaking and is extremely minor.

Since we're on a topic about warp pipes, is it possible to gift one to your villagers and use it when displayed in their house? I wouldn't be surprised if you can't warp to and from there at all.

That is pretty minor, I'm sure they can fix it in a QoL update. And I hope it is possible to gift one to your villagers, because that would be so cool and I could visit zucker all the time d:

Thanks for the heads-up! I haven't used it much but the camera thing would have worried me if I didn't realize what was causing it.

I'm not sure what you mean.
I went through a pipe and noticed no difference, went in and out a building and saw no difference, through a pipe again and nothing, turned the game off and on, still the same, back through the pipe and no change.

I haven't noticed anything with the camera after using the pipe, but thanks for mentioning it.

You can gift a pipe to a villager, and they will display it, but it doesn't function. Like @Etown20 said, it would probably break the game if you tried when they were asleep or not home.

I didn't notice any difference at all for the ones on my island. Maybe it's how you situated yours? Or perhaps it's a glitch?

I noticed this! It's a tiny bit off putting for me because I'm used to how the camera is delayed a bit. I guess I'm too observant. But it's still very minor.

You can see this glitch in action when you walk very slowly back and forth before and after entering the pipe.
The camera, normally (i.e. before entering a pipe), doesn't move with your character initially; there is a delay. If you walk very slowly backwards and forwards (e.g. on the short width of the bridge) you'll notice the camera barely moves with your character.
But after you exit a pipe, the camera follows you no matter how slowly you move and where you go.

Lol imagine breaking into their House while they're sleeping, the reaction would be hilarious.

I'll have to test this out. I ordered some yesterday so they should be in the mail today.

i think the thing with the camera only happens sometimes, and i think it depends on the position of the pipe, though i can't say specifically why it happens. i've noticed it sometimes and other times it's fine, though! they'll likely fix it in an upcoming update since they're usually pretty quick with these smaller things.

I have pictures of it.
