Wow. That's really lucky
. I've never had any shiny luck in regards to Masudaing . I've been trying for a shiny Fenniken for awhile now, with no dice. Not giving up though.
I have flund quite a few shinies-
Pidove in black whilst training my drilburr for the second gym.
Shiny durant whilst training my zweilous for the elite four.
Shiny hoothoot of which I was actually hunting for but MY BLOODY HOOTHOOT KILLED IT WITH A FFING CRIT! Cris
Shiny Ferroseed x2, Shiny snubbul and shiny fletchinder friend safari.
Shiny volbeat completely randomly when I accidety ran into the grass outside the daycare.

My shortest hunt ever wasn't even a hunt at all! I was breeding two non foreign Marills for good IVS and a FULL ODDS baby popped out after 5!
I also got a shiny Treecko after 34 eggs, a shiny Metang after 41 encounters in Friend Safari, a shiny Zubat after 57 horde encounters, and my last hunt was a shiny Honedge after 221 encounters!
My current hunt is for a shiny Mareep and I'm up to ~375 horde encounters. Hopefully I don't get another stupid Wingull.
I think my total number of shiny pokemon is up to 20 now.

sometimes haha... the first time I tried to breed for a competitive noibat I managed to get a shiny after like 5 eggs O: it had 5ivs and egg moves, but I think a kind of random nature lol... never managed to hatch a shiny since then though, and I've gotten the shiny charm since then too;;;
I also managed to get a shiny bellsprout while EV training... I think it popped out after like 3 horde encounters? wasn't looking for one but it was my first wild shiny and the first shiny I managed to catch after getting the shiny charm

I have literally no luck whatsoever. The only time I got a shiny myself was a shiny Eevee, 126 eggs in W2. My friend has boxes of shinies and I don't know how he does it.
EDIT: I forgot to add this, but I found a shiny Scraggy in the wild in the first two hours when Pokemon X was released. I was the first in the US to find a shiny but I was so excited that I ran from it by accident, therefore leaving no evidence for anybody. I'm still mad about that to this day.

I bred so many Dratinis, and never got the shiny I wanted. Then one day I was trying to breed some Dratinis with their hidden ability to wondertrade on Christmas, and I got one! Another time I was just breeding cottonee for better IVs, and I stumbled upon a shiny then as well. It seems whenever I am actively trying for a shiny, it never happens, but if I don't pay attention to it, then I get them!

I have a shiny jigglypuff, which I found by chance in the friend safari, a shiny growlithe, which I got from spending hours shiny hunting in a charmelion/growlithe friend safari, a shiny gyarados from chain fishing and a shiny pollywhirl also from chain fishing.
I wouldn't really call it luck because I only got one when I wasn't actively trying for a shiny but I guess I am lucky in some ways because my shiny hunting has been quite successful and all of the ones I've gotten are pokemon that I like the look of.
I don't really care that much about shinies though so I'd never spend ages breeding for one I could use competitively. I just enjoy collecting a few for their looks and for bragging rights.

My first shiny was a Taillow I caught in Ruby during Christmas Eve. It was pretty awesome.
I stopped breeding for shinies once I hit my 5th box worth of the things.. though my fastest shiny I got from breeding was when I was breeding my starter in hopes of a shiny; got my shiny fennekin on the 12th egg[haven't actually hatched another one since, the rest have been from trades and using the TSV method]
I bought my game on Oct 29, 2013 and started my game the same day. Then the next day as I first ventured into route 7 (I believe) the first thing to pop out of the grass was a shiny female Furfrou! I couldn't believe it I'd just gotten the game the day before! I was super happy though and needless to say she joined my team immediately and was there to stay.

Also, One day long after I had beaten the game I bred my Magmar in order to get a Magby for my Dex, so I just bred one along with a bunch of Porygons. Needless to say once the Magby hatched it was a shiny I was so surprised.
Now, the first shiny I tried to get on purpose was an Espurr (Exactly the one in my avatar). I hatched around 100 eggs before I got one, which I consider to be pretty lucky.

Back Home in Hoenn
I was able to breed for a shiny Eevee in HeartGold. After that, I started on Vulpix and got it the next weekend. Do note that I do not play on weekdays.
Last night, I was hatching some Pok?s in Lumoise and afterwards I decided to head back on foot to the daycare for once. On the way back I ran into one wild Pok?mon and thinking I had almost made it back without running into anything... Long story short I ran into a shiny Bunnelby. I had to do a double take to make sure I wasn't seeing things, but yeah sure enough it was a shiny!
