Exotic Pets

Which apparently means anything that isn't a cat or a dog. SO what unique pets do you have? Lizards, snakes, invertebrates, tropical fish, etc.?

I have lots of garden snails, two tarantulas, some leopard slugs, and a group of giant african land snails. The two albino ones are called Caesar and Harold and had babies recently.

I'm not sure if it applies as tropical, but... I did have a ferret at one point, which is a pretty unusual pet. She died a couple of years back, but Connie, she was so loveable it was hard to think of anything bad about her.

I've also had ferrets in the past, and they are the cutest little things. Everyone was afraid of them even though it just wasn't justified. They are no different than a cat or dog in that aspect...some bite and some don't. It depends on how they were handled, if they're frightened, and each one's temperament.

I want a frog. I think they're adorable, and living proof of evolution. I'd love to get a little tadpole and raise it to be a frog. I'd prefer a tree frog, because they're my absolute favorite. But for now, no exotic pets for me.

Just a cat.

I have an axolotl salamander, I think they look pretty rad.

I have a bearded dragon and I used to have a ton of freshwater fish. I'm also planning on getting a hedgehog soon!

I used to own a chicken. I also had a leopard gecko and a bearded dragon but we gave those away a few weeks ago.

I only have cats and dogs. I would like a duck, goat or skunk (with it's smell-thing taken out, obviously) one day. Though I eat a lot of chicken... having a duck might make me feel a bit guilty.

I had rats too. They are pretty dang social, and smart.

The only exotic pet I've owned is a cornsnake. He was precious.

I'd definitely love to get another one someday when I'm a little more settled, they're really a lovely pet. And very easy to look after compared to a dog or cat.

Two Leopard Geckos and a Green iguana. I really, REALLY love reptiles.

I should be either getting a breeding pair of crested geckos soon or dart frogs soon. I've reached the amount I need to pay for the vivarium. I just don't know what to choose!
