Poppy came to my campsite and agreed to move in. The next day, she was still there. I've never seen that happen before.
Ever had a camper stay for two days?

Yeah I don't know why campers do this but they can take a few days moving in and stay at your campsite for a little while. The longest I've heard one took to move in was about 3-4 days! o: It sounds like an annoying mechanic as I've heard of a few people who got a random villager move in sooner than they could get their camper. :c

Oh, I would have been upset if it messed up her move-in!
I wondered if it had anything to do with the fact that my 9th villager was in boxes that day. I was down to 8 the second day she was at the campsite.

yeah, for me it took about 2 days for marina to move in from the campsite, but she was only camping for one day. thats so weird, ive never heard of a camper staying longer than a day!

Yeah one situation I remember was someone had 8 villagers, invited a camper and then the game gave them a random villager move-in before their camper moved in. I believe this is the one that took 3-4 days which I guess makes sense since it does take a couple days for a villager to completely move in but still it sounds very irritating. :s
Hmm, that could be a possibility! I always thought the camper move-in dialogue couldn't appear if you had the maximum amount of villagers or if there was someone in boxes still from what I've heard. o:

It happens occasionally. I asked Agent S. to move in once and I tt'ed to the day after and she was still camping. A plot with her name even showed up. Bizarre.
