just like it says in the title. im debating just not getting an ordinance this time around for a few reasons [ability to make golden roses, clovers spawn faster, more satisfying maybe] but am unsure because it will probably be . a lot more difficult and time consuming than the alternative. thoughts?

This is currently my first town and I'm only a month in and I must say I am so thankful for the beautiful town ordinance. It's a blessing for me.

nope I've always had the beautiful town ordinance. I would die without it.

It would pose more of a challenge but it's probably absolutely doable.

In my experience, I never achieved perfect status without the beautiful ordinance but my friend has and his ordinance is the night owl. According to him, it takes a lot of effort from watering the plants every day, going to the town hall and ask Isabelle about the status of your town and basically landscaping. It's not impossible though and I wish you luck :)

Nope, I can never have a town without the beautiful ordinance. I think i'd be hard to maintain the flowers, especially if you have several.

I cannot give up the beautiful town ordinance. Since I have so many flowers scattered across my town, and even tons on my beach, I can't water them all night after night, it would just be too tedious. I got my perfect town with no ordinances back at the very beginning, only because i watered all of my flowers each day and decided it was too much so i switched, but then a couple months later I just got rid of the randomish flowers/trees and organized them, and that's what caused me to lose my perfect town. Oof. >.<

Yeah for sure you can try it! I think the ordinance is good since that's kind of the base of what the game is connected to for the whole mayor theme gameplay, but it will probably be a lot more difficult to earn bells, and devlop the town since the princing is at a high rate it's deffinitely not impossible just takes longgerr. So I'm guessing try without and if it gets too hard to manage, you can always switch to an ordinance any time after you get the roses and clovers ect that you needed

I will say I had no ordinance for a few days and found dead flowers. I work during the day so I was naive and did night owl so things would be open later. I found dead flowers and got tired of watering flowers myself. I switched to beautiful town and never looked back. If I did no ordinance, it'd be way too tedious to water all of my flowers. I would just not enjoy the game because I'd spend hours watering flowers (boringggg)

I achieved it without the ordinance, had night owl at the time. I didn't find it particularly difficult. Once i got enough (and the right kind of) public works projects installed, i got it pretty quickly. then i started growing hybrids and time-travelling so i switched to perfect town ordinance. then is tarted doing a lot of trades and lost it because my town is covered with items everywhere for and fro m trades!

I used to use the beautiful town ordinance all of the time, but now I play in real-time and the only time I get to myself is 6-8am before my husband and baby wake up.
So I use the early bird ordinance. I did have a perfect town, too! (Until I filled it with a load of junk for storage sorting.)

As with many players who insist on beautiful town ordinance, I would not do without it unless I could upgrade the watering can to water the whole map in one go.

I got a perfect town when I still had the bell boom ordiance. it's possible, but kind of bothersome to water all the flowers lol. i've lost my perfect town status now when I've removed some pwps and have trash all over though lmao

I got mine originally on Night Owl. I just spent ages watering all my flowers every day to make sure they didn't wilt the next day. I got it pretty quick but I think that's also because I was used to it from WW.
