I gave blood today at my school and it hurt for a little while.. but they give you a free t-shirt and food and drinks too! so thats a plus.
and you get to find out what type of blood you are.

ya i donated today and they couldn't find my vein.. lol it hurt so bad when the lady was pushing the needle back and forth trying to get the blood to go into the tube, and it took forever for them to fill one blood bag. My blood was going into the bag so slowly because my vein was so small.
