I'm doing a little giveaway for Lolly in the villager thread and everyone that entered is telling me why they want her . ugh I feel so sad. I wish I could give them all Lolly. Members have been helping me find my penguins and it's making me so happy and I just wish to give everyone this feeling. Have you ever did a giveaway and felt bad after because not everyone could win the prize?

yep. however, i'll still feel happy because at least they're receiving the chance to get something for free.

the only time I would feel absolutely bad is if after a winner is announced, a participant rants and attacks me somehow. it hasn't happened to me before, but I've definitely received a fair share of "wow you ruined things for me," type of messages

you're doing something great, so don't feel bad! :)

Yeah, I forget what villager it was but a person came just a second too late, and apparently they really really wanted the villager and I felt bad.

Every single time.... I think it's wonderful that you're doing this, and even if they all can't win - you're setting an example that hopefully will spread and become commonplace as people you help pay it forwards. Thereby increasing the chances of them getting a dream villager in the future. You're also showing the ones that enter that there is hope and chances of getting a dreamie is not based on how many bells you have in your ABM.

I hope no one gets mad at me. I tried to make it as fair and easy as possible. I just want to return the favor. I put lolly into search and saw many people wanted her. I waited until the weekend to put the giveaway up so that everyone can get a chance to see her. because everyone is in different times zones and stuff. I've missed many changes to save penguins from the void because I was not online etc etc. Everytime someone does something nice for me I just want to do it right back you know.

but ugh, I want everyone to win. :/

Emm I hear ya. I just had to do a redraw because the winner wasn't available when I said that I could not hold. I HAVE to cycle out a villager that I placed in my cycle town as a temp. measure by tonight. I did say in my first post that the winner had to be on and pick up at the time of the drawing, etc. and even gave them an extra hour... I hope they're not too upset.

I always feel bad when I'm giving away an item thats unorderable, and more than one person wants it.I feel bad for the person who posted a few seconds too late.

I mainly feel scared when I put up a villager to be given away that they end up voided. After Peewee ended up in the void and I found out he could have given a new home instead I vowed to make sure any villager I gave away would not end up in void no matter who they were, I would keep the giveaway open all day even past midnight and occasionally bump it so that people don't miss it. So far I haven't had a single villager voided I hope to keep that tread up.

Yep. Currently holding a raffle for Marshal on Reddit. He's one of my dream villagers, but I never feel good when I take a villager in my cycling towns for myself.

I'm sure no one will get mad at you! I'm just happy I got to enter! You really are nice! It means a lot that you went out of your way to VM me and let me know that you were giving away Lolly! <3

Plus even if I don't win, I'm still grateful I had the opportunity to do so :)

Yeah, but mostly I do drawings so a winner is randomly drawn which makes me feel less bad. That way I don't have to feel bad if I were to specifically choose myself and make people wonder why I didn't chose them over someone else. But no matter how you do a giveaway...you're making someone's day and there will be plenty of other giveaways for others to try. So don't feel too bad.

I feel sad when I plan a giveaway for weeks, collecting unorderables for it Nd when I have it officially launch, it doesn't receive much attention and I end up with lots of leftover I not sure what to do with it lol....they re unorderables from gracies, dlc and so selling them to Reese make me sadder.

I'm doing my best to be as fair as possible. I'm putting the list in order that everyone entered into a randomizer and assign the random list 1- however and choose and number in another number picker. If I had a copy of the game I would keep resetting to give them all Lolly :/
