Eventathon by Open Gate Social
Recently, the Open Gate Social staff tried to host an event called the "Eventathon". It was a collection of in-town events that were planned to be hosted by Mr Animorie and Lynn105. Sadly, due to Nintendo's server maintenance on September 9th, the events were not able to be hosted. Beyond just that, another problem we found was the fact that only about half of the people who originally signed up actually showed up. Upon closer examination, we figured that this was all due to the timing of the event. In reality, an event that took place at 4:30 on the beginning of a business week was just a poor choice in general. Now we've decided to make it up to the people who are going to be participating in the event! We've set up 3 different weekends to do this on, and three different times of day, the events can start on September 20th, 27th, or October 4th. The timing can be set at either 12:00 PM, 4:00 PM, or 9:00 PM (All times are based in the Eastern time zone, US). No matter what date is chosen, it will last 3 days.
