Eunice is too fluffy

I'll start with my question - when villager A asks me to deliver to villager B, whose friendship level is improving?

I'm in the habit of taking a shortcut in my town where a pond, a home and line of shrubs come together in a narrow spot. For some reason, I can fit through but my villagers don't always make it. They sometimes yell for me to wait and then come really fast from around the pond. Eunice was following me over for a visit today, and even though I stopped to wait, she never made it thru at all and instead got mad that I wouldn't wait for her She was just too fluffy to fit thru that gap, I guess. To make things worse, Grizzly immediately asked me to deliver something to her, and I had to follow her around and wait for her to cheer up before I could give the delivery to her. So obviously I lost some friendship with Eunice today by ditching her by the pond. Did taking her the delivery help? Or did I only increase friendship with Grizzly?

I'm sorry but this situation is making me laugh... it's just really funny and cute that Eunice couldn't fit through that gap.

Back on topic, I've always thought that the friendship level that increases with deliveries is the one between you and Villager A (the one who asks you to deliver an item). I've heard recently that it also increases your friendship with Villager B, so I'm not sure. Either way, you can probably make up for the lost friendship by talking to her and stuff. I don't think it takes very long to recover it.

I think I remember reading somewhere that deliveries increase the friendship of both of the villagers involved, but I'm not sure if that's true :/

I always thought it would be Villager A who improved their friendship with you, since you're fulfilling their request.

And yeah, Eunice needs a good shearing...

Oh, I might be able to take a picture. I always feel like I'm not ready to do a Dream Address, but I'm not really a perfectionist. Perhaps I should just do it and call it a work in progress
