Ethnicity

50% Italian, 25% German, 25% Scottish
Which means I get to eat yummy pastas but live a long, hardy life. xP

I'm a god damn AMERICAN, unlike all of you. And proud of it.

Your pride is admirable!

A few of us here ARE nationally and culturally American, but if our ancestors immigrated relatively recently and none married founding stock Americans (mostly German+English+FREEDOM) then it wouldn't be incorrect to say we are of another ethnicity. :)

I am Australian ^^ My father was German. So that makes me 50% I suppose XD

My fiancee is American, Vietnamese ^^

From my Mum's side, it has to be Scottish, Irish, English, and French. From my Dad's side it has to be English, and German. From my Step-Dad's side it has to be Greek. Even though I'm Australian. :)

Yeah go for us! :D

Story Time! On my dad's side, my Great Great Grandfather came here from Germany right before World War 1. When he came here, he lied about his last name, and didn't have it legally changed. So my, "legal", name isn't my real last name, and I will probably never know what my real last name is.

Woah! That is crazy. My great-grandfather immigrated here from Alsace before WWI and altered his birth certificate so he would be old enough to join the navy. My grandmother still has the document and you can even see where he changed the year.

Oh those lying Germans... xP

For the most part, I'm German and Native American (no idea what tribe. I'll have to ask my mom if she ever found out and edit this post when I do find out).
I've also got a bit of Dutch and maybe some Irish as well. Maybe.
I have no idea how much of anything I have or how far back in my family tree you would have to go before you found full German on my dad's side or full native american on my mom's side or if there's anything else in the mix.

You American people live in a young country which has been mainly colognized by european colons so you basically have east or west european blood in your veins.
It?s quite different in Europe, so I'm a 100% french blooded.
