Estimate of NMT needed to buy 5-6 villagers

So I've just sold Judy for 300 NMT. I'm planning to gradually replace 5 or 6 of my villagers so I want to know more or less how many NMT to keep so I can be 100% certain I'm able to buy all of them whenever someone is selling. Bar Whitney, the rest of them are around tiers 2-3.

it’s hard to give an estimate as it kinda all depends on the villager and who you’re buying from. but as a precaution, i’d maybe just keep the 300 nmt on standby and look for the villagers you want whenever you have a space available and if necessary, acquire more nmt if you start to run out

if they're mid tier/low high tier villagers you'll be able to buy them all with the nmts you have right now, unless you run into some serious price gouging

In this forum, except Raymond, Marshall, Audie and maybe Sherb, you can adopt every villager with 0-30 nmt
Many are free adoption.

I was wondering because although NMT are v valuable atm I'd like to cash them in case they continue to lose value (considering they went from 250k to 200k each). Maybe I'm being too skeptical tho

If you cash in now, and they lose value, and you then buy tickets with your bells, won't that be a gain? but unless we know who you want its impossible to know what ammount you need
