Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you have played the elder scrolls online before (preferably the ps4 version) and was looking to hear your opinion on it. I've played skyrim (have over 300 hours in that game :p), but a year ago, ran out of things to do in it. would the elder scrolls online be a good alternative? Any comments you guys have on the game are much appreciated. I'm tempted to buy it but am still a little waver-y. Any other game recommendations you guys have would be cool too. I'm very excited for the legend of zelda u cuz I love open world games (as you can tell) :p so we can also talk about that here. I'm hoping this thread will eventually become a pseudo review group for open world games so am trying to keep the topic of conversation "open" too :p

Haven't played ESO, so can't really speak for that. I can recommend a couple of other open world games that I've had some enjoyment out of though.

Sleeping Dogs - a martial arts/third person shooter where you play as an undercover police officer in Hong Kong who's working among the Triad gangs. It has quite an enjoyable story, along with some pretty visuals throughout the city, there's a few things to do around the city such as races, dates, karaoke in nightclubs and other minor side missions which often involve distracting the police, plus there are some decent add-on DLC's you'll get if you buy the Definitive Edition.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 - A massively multiplayer online racing game. Has quite a good variety of cars you can buy, and driving fast around the cities of Ibiza and Hawaii can be nice, although the grind to buy new cars does get tiring after a while if you want more than one per tier. While there is a singleplayer mode with most of the features available, the game does really shine the most when it's played online, as you can race against other players and do other activities with them, there are a good number of races you can only do in multiplayer, so you will miss out on a good chunk of the game if you can't get online with it. That said, its predecessor, Test Drive Unlimited (1) is great on singleplayer, although there is no multiplayer as the servers were shut down. TDU2's servers are also sometimes down for a day or two at a time as well, which can be frustrating at times. Overall, the game is definitely worth a buy if you are into racing games, and the open world aspect of it was what drew me in originally.
