eShop Questions and Data Transferring

Since ACNL is on sale for the Super Smashing Sale, I was thinking about getting an eCopy of ACNL. However, I've heard a lot of mixed rumors about having a cartridge town and an eCopy conflicting. Is there any truth to this?

Also, at the start of the summer, my 2ds stopped responding to input commands. I didn't want to go through the hassle of sending it to Nintendo since there was a Pokemon tournament that week and I didn't have it warrantied, so I went out and bought a new 2ds instead and asked Nintendo to unlink my old 2ds from my account.

Now, though, I'm worried that if that happens again, even if its data is in the SD card, I wouldn't be able to play ACNL if my account isn't linked to the 2ds/3ds I'm playing on.

I'm also intending to get the Persona Q 3ds when it comes out, and I was wondering if I could just switch the 2ds SD card into the 3ds w/o having to add my account (though irrc I can have one 2ds, one 3ds, and one Wii U attached to one account).

I've never done any sort of thing that really required the eShop for Nintendo products yet, so I'm sorry if these questions are a bit silly. ^^;

I'm a bit perplexed at what your asking, but I will do my best to answer.
1) Having a physical copy and a digital copy causes no conflict other than Streetpass messing up.
2) You will always need to do a system transfer/unlink your account and link it to the new one. Putting the SD card from your 2DS into another system does not work.

Ah, okay, I don't run into many people through streetpass lately, so that part won't bother me.

I'm a bit disappointed that I'll have to link my account to play it though.

actually you could buy a physical copy if you still have your broken 2ds? is that 2ds still playable? then you could transfer items between towns and streetpass and stuff.
