error/glitch??

I wash chatting with one of my villagers (Chief) and when I wanted to start another conversation only the speech bubble appeared with no text. the camera worked and the game was not frozen but the text never appeared and I couldn't cancel it so I had to restart (and get screamed at by resetti)...

is this a common game glitch, or was I just this unlucky?

I agree, sounds unlucky to me. I've never had that happen, nor have heard of it happening.

I've actually heard of this happening to quite a few people. It indeed seems to be a stupid glitch that forces you to reset the game.

I?ve had that happen, one timeI lost 30 minutes playing time.(Watering flowers and harvesting trees, luckily I lost nothing important.)
I went to visit Fuchsia when I saw she was at home, talked to her and the speech bubble appeared and no text in it. And it was stuck, the screen was not frozen, but I had to restart the game. And I don`t have too much memory on my 3DS.

Well, I remember it normally happening when I had left my 3DS on for too long without restarting it. Thankfully, the glitch would happen within 5-10 minutes of playing, so I wouldn't lose much. All I know is that you should reboot your 3DS every night. Also, it was a digital version...

or it could have just been my 3DS idk

Nah, sometimes when you have to much on your SD card things get glitch. Fantasy Life used to lag and I was worried bu then I realized that my SD was basically full. (FL was a downloaded copy on my SD card)
