Error code 006-0502 and/or 003-4099

I've been having these two error codes whenever I try to do a trade from both of my 3DS's, don't know why..

All my devices (iPad, laptop, etc) are connected to the wifi without problem. i did a power cycle for my wifi router and a connection test for both 3DS's and it was ok. Is it just the game???

I am able to connect for only about a few minutes before getting resetti on my screen.. its been happening since 2 days ago.

Anyone else having this problem? I hope its not just me.

Seems to be one of those errors that just happens sometimes. Has anything changed recently with your ISP that you're aware of? Is everything updated? The only solution I've found is power cycling the router, but you've already done that.

I think this was the error I was getting awhile back. My husband updated our wi-fi router and I got it from then on. It didn't go away until we got a new router. I could visit other people's towns, but no one could come to mine. If you google the error code, you should be able to find out more info. I'm sorry this is happening to you. It really stinks. Oh, if I went somewhere else and used their wi-fi, people could come to my town with no problem.

Everything is updated, router is the same as it ever was.. i'll remove the current connection and then reconnect and see if that works. Thank you~

Agh new router ;-; that is the exact problem i have! I'll have a word with the nintendo help desk and see if it is the router that's the problem.. thank you!
