This is the one problem that continually kills my excitement for ACNL.

I get it 99% of the time when trying to have friends over, or going to their town.

I've tried assigning a DMZ, and manually setting up the IP Address. It does a great job at pissing me off and losing out on trades and dreamies.

Pleeeeease help me D::confused::confused::confused:

This is almost scary. My friend is having the exact same problem, yet she can battle on Pokemon fine without a problem.

You sound 100% in my exact same situation. I just don't understand and have tried everything! :( All I can think of is to hope that Nintendo finds a solution and sends out an update to fix the issue... I hope that is soon, because just like you I am super frustrated! :mad:

Got the same thing happening.

It worked perfectly before though, which makes me think it's Nintendo, or one of their updates which has caused the problem.

this was happening to me a bunch yesterday during a specific trade. the mayor ended the session they were currently in with another visitor and restarted their entire system and it worked when i tried to enter their town again. : -( i hope it goes away soon

My friend in Spain has this issue. While we have no solid solution to completely fix the problem, she did say going into another room made the connection last longer, and I did read somewhere (did not try this yet) that if you close the gate after the person has arrived the connection will stay more stable. Worth a shot?

It's a common problem. When trying to visit or when trying to invite the code will pop-up while the connection is working fine. It sometimes helps if the host closes and reopens the gates, or try again in 5 minutes.

I had to go through it 5 times and the 6th finally allowed me to go, the host didn't change a thing and we were both well within Wi-Fi reach.
