to hold him, just stay on the same day & make sure he doesn't go to sleep. so if it's like 8pm, TT back to 1pm the same day. you can hold villagers this way for as long as you want c:

I have accidentally forgotten to do this a couple times, at 12am it changed to the next day so I just changed it back to the boxes day and they were still in boxes.
