Elvis left with NO warning whatsoever!

I played on Saturday or Sunday (Most likely Saturday) and then haven't played til now. Elvis has already moved and his house was gone! WHY! He was my original! Why does he leave but stupid loser Ricky leave?! Now a villager I love is gone and one I HATE is still there!

My game for today isn't saved so is it possible to time travel to stop him?

There was no warning from ANYONE about him moving! He just left! :( :(

I WANT ELVIS BACK! DEATH TO RICKY!

If he's in boxes then it's not possible to prevent him from moving ><. If you do want to get Elvis back without resetting your town, then you can get him to move back in only once 16 villagers have moved out of your town afterwards.

The exact same thing happened with me and Flora :( I'm sorry for your lose. As stated earlier, you can always do the 16 villager cycle to get him back. However, if you have all dreamies as of now, it'll be hard to cycle out 16 villagers one at a time. So maybe resetting might be for the best.

as long as you have 9 or 10 villagers, someone is most likely going to be planning to move. make sure you walk around when you first start up the game. there's a high chance someone will ping you about moving. if not, talk to you villagers and you'll probably hear a rumor about someone wanting to move.

Bump!

Nobody TOLD me he was going to move! Not even Elvis! I had no idea! I played and talked to him on Saturday. Today his house is gone! I am NOT resetting as I put so much work into my town and my bug log is almost full!

I haven't saved yet today so if I time travel, can I stop him from moving?

Like mentioned above, no unfortunately. When you load your town from one of your character accounts the game automatically saves.

no, the game saves when you start it up so unless you haven't opened the game with an existing character he will be gone now.

You have an automatic save immediately when you start the game up talking to Isabelle sadly.

Only way of getting Elvis back would be if your were playing on a new save and have not loaded your major up yet. Sorry. :( </3

... So it looks like it's 16 cycle for Elivs-kun to return.... ****! Just ****!

Hopefully when they make a new AC game you, get a warning if anybody's THINKING of moving as soon as you load up!

ELVIS! WHY?!!!!! NINTENDO FORSAKED ME!:(

If you don't talk to villagers for a while they won't tell your about moving out. He was already in the move-out cycle by the time you starting talking to him again.

Dear Jordon - and everyone who has lost a beloved villager...

The whole move out cycle is just plain wrong. It is a horrible, stressful event.

I have been there. The very first time was playing Animal Crossing on the Game Cube. Peanut had just given me her picture the previous day. The next day - her house was gone - with a letter - and her picture, again.

Then Wart Jr. moved in. I was horrified and devastated.

In New Leaf, this was the best the programmers could do? It sucks.

In June, I had Clyde the lazy horse move in. The very next day after he moved in and was out of boxes, the very first action that happened that day was a moving ping from Clyde. I freaked and said no, you can't leave. Next day - Bam the Jock deer, one of my first five pinged to leave. OK now I'm scared - no, you can't leave either. Third day - ANOTHER PING from another villager!!! Three pings to move out! Yes, I was lucky I even saw the pings. Now I am paranoid that all my favorite villagers will leave me. It haunts me.

I have many possible ideas for making it better. I'm sure you do too.

I love playing Animal Crossing but sometimes I wish I could have the stability that I could get to know a villager at least until I have a picture.

I'm sorry Jordon. But maybe you could meet a few other villagers in the 16 cycle; make it a game, and when Elvis comes back, you will be so excited for him!

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm having Elvis in my town and I love him too.
I'm pretty sure Elvis wanted to move on Saturday but you didn't have the luck to see him ping. Sometimes other villagers ping me a lot to talk about silly stuff, then later in the day the one who wants to move out pings me. Because you stopped playing for around 4 days so Elvis moved out. If you played some time since Sat to now then you would have been able to see him ping.
You can adopt Elvis from another player but I understand it won't be the same as the original one that you had.

I hope you can get him back somehow.

If you cycle for him he's in my town, so if you get through 16 by the time I've got a full 9 and Elvis wants to move out you can have him.

*hugs*

That made me feel better. And you're right. I can use this time to meet new villagers. And Elvis will probably in Main Street by Toy Day or New Years.

And when I have done 16 and he can come home, I'll be happy :)

Sorry for your loss :( I know the feeling...it sucks. But yeah I would say if you don't want to quickly cycle to get him back, you can now make new friends in the meantime!
