And I'm upset because I just realized Maple ripped off Ellie's design!
It's a big shame that she isn't in new leaf, but it just makes me upset that Maple is and ELLIE ISN'T WHEN THEY ARE BOTH BASICALLY THE SAME

But they're both in the first animal crossing. I think they just unintentionally gave them similar designs.

Edit: Or maybe maple wanted to be the only one with cute black eyes, brown skin/fur and wearing a cute citrus gingham shirt, so she got rid of her. If ya catch my drift.
