Elgato Game Capture - Anyone use it? & Record audio?

So I finally bought an Elgato Game Capture, mainly so I can record BO3 videos, but I was wondering if anyone else uses one?
If so, how do you guys record party chat/commentary? There seems to be a few ways, all of which are a bit tedious.
