Efficient Ways to Get Rid of Grass

Hey, guys

I've been trying to make natural, dirt paths for a while, but the grass never actually wears away. I run on my paths all the time, but nothing happens. Any ideas?

My biggest problem with that is it gets expensive if you don't have many bells, and takes a long time.

You could create new character houses and keep deleting them.

just place alt houses for huge patches, and keep running on paths [outline some paths with flowers and it gets easier]

I wouldn't do the alt houses for dirt paths since the smaller paths look better (in my opinion). You could invite some people over to run on your paths. You may want to do what the person in the gif does:

I think so, but you've just got to keep running to maintain them. ^^

I've got patterns along the edges of my paths; think that'll be okay? I use 'em because if I ever accidentally go off the path, the patterns protect the grass.

That's fine. Just keep running. It could take a while ;3

Alright. What I think I'll do is just choose random sections each day and run back and forth in the different area while doing other activities, and when I'm done, running around the whole town for a bit.

Put a designed path down and every time you use it, run. After quite a long time take the designs off.
