You're supposed to try again if you don't get it.

Trap your uchi and snooty villager(s), and sit in the water, or just on the beach out of sight of your villagers, for 5 minutes or so. Then run in front of your trapped villagers. If they don't ping, try again. Repeat until you get the desired PWP.

It's the only way I've gotten almost all villager PWPs.

I keep tools and seashells in my inventory. Seems to work.

you need to fill your inventory with flowers, unassessed fossils, or money. You need to swim to the corner of the ocean and wait for 5 mins. Your villagers will ping you. Only way I've ever gotten requests, too impatient to do things naturally

Just a question: If they don't ping, do I walk around to see if I get binged and then go swimming or??
