Easy way to earn bells anyone?

Lurk on the Train station sub-forum and go sell stuff in a town where it's on premium at Re-Tail.

Bug hunting in the evening.

bug hunting @ the island during nighttime you can make more than 50k per trip :)

altho if you still haven't unlocked the island, you can looks for the fake rock in your town, a new one appears everyday. it's basically a rock that wasn't there the day before. hit it with a shovel and pick up the gem. sell it @ re-tail for 2-4k

another way is by looking for the money rock in your town. picking up seashells and sand dollars, then selling them to reese.

If you're new to the game and just starting out, you can message me for tips! ^^ (most of them include time travelling tho so if you're not into that, don't bother :) )

I have the island unlocked and I've make a lot from catching bugs ect there but I just wanna get rich fast and have a really good town! How's time travel work?

basically, when you start your save, isabelle will ask you if you should start.
two options will pop up, and choose the 'i need help first'

then just choose to set the time. go a few days ahead, back, etc.

but if you dont mind a lot of weeds, put all your bells in the bank and TT to 2099 or the farthest year you can go. load up your file and collect the interest. good luck with the weeds tho

Just a warning, if you like your villagers, it's not a good idea to skip ahead more than a few days in a row. If you want to do that, deny someone's request to move, or someone will end up moving out.

Some of the easiest ways to earn bells imo, is to just simply beetle hunt on TT island. The beetles can range from 3,000 bells to 12,000 bells and you could make well over 70k in bells per trip. The best way is to beetle farm, so that you can attract more of the costly ones. I usually beetle hunt on my own island rather than online due to the vast number of D/C's that occur on there, and I really hate wasting all that valuable time fishing or hunting that's all for nothing. Fishing for sharks are a bit harder but they prove pretty well when on a good shark-catching-spree day on the island too. Trading in the TBT you earn on BT is pretty valuable as well, as most people on here would love to offer bells for them since the new currency on BT usually consists of TBT as it is much easier to handle when bargaining and/or trade with.

Turnips have proven more than once for me to be a huge money maker, but in order to make money, you usually need to have money to buy the turnips. It is a bit risky for those who buy them at a high price and then can't make a profit off of them simply because their town didn't offer them or they don't know anybody with a high price, but on here, the odds of you finding someone with a high price increases dramatically. I had bought 500 Turnips before that had only cost 190 bells each (should've bought more) and then found someone on here who was having their town's Turnips prices sell for about 600 each! (I made a good profit over that!) So it all depends on if you are willing to search for someone who has great turnip prices. The only thing you CANNOT do is TT when having turnips. The moment you do, they spoil and there goes all those bells you wasted, down the drain. Joan explains everything pretty much for you.

I really wouldn't recommend time traveling unless you know for a fact that you don't have any villagers, flowers or items of importance (like turnips) that could move, ruin or spoil while TTing. TTing really doesn't bring much usefulness personally when trying to make money, other than having a money rock appear everyday. It does make other events appear more quickly (which really doesn't help the money situation unless you just want to "experience" the holiday or event that day) and really doesn't serve much purpose. I personally just recommend using the methods explained by most people on this thread including myself, as it really is the easiest way without corrupting your game and/or ruining it for you. So good luck! And remember, patience is a virtue!~

Personally i found bug hunting pretty profitable. Thats it without going outside your town.

If you want to trade online, then you can do turnip trading and thats very profitable.

On this forum, you can sell your tbt bells/forum bells. Thats going around 8-20 mil per 100 tbt depending on who you end up trading with.

if you invest on turnip farming correctly it's definitely worth the time.
I've gotten 10 million in profit in one trip selling on multiple of times!
just buy a full locker of turnips + 16 more for your current inventory and find a town that's letting people sell!
I mainly use the reddit sub for turnips as it's more active and has better prices than the thread on here.
other than that, if you have any valuable villagers you can sell them on here or just open up a shop of furniture/hybrids in retail or do other trades really~

I made 50 million in 30 minutes before by selling turnips.

Wow! How much turnips did you buy, for what price and what did you end up selling them for?

I ask because I always buy turnips for too much, loose all my money, or forget about them and they rot :p

Go to the island and instead of trying to win medals, pick the fruit!

Well it depends on what you can 'sacrifice' and what not. You can earn a lot money on selling you BTB/TBT, the current rate is 10-15 mil per 100 BTB/TBT. Another way would be selling villagers but there you'd need Tier one and two villagers to make a lot profit. Or you can sell ykur stuff here in the Retail. You may make much profit by selling turnips but that's always connected with luck and danger. I sold my perfect fruit at other players (prefered when I got more that usually) who hadn't my native fruit as town fruit. But the trees will take some tike to grow. The classic version of catching bugs is still very famous but I don't like it that much, to be honest. And then there's still the ore stone and the bell stone :)

I made a lot from trading bell tree bells. If you don't mind cycling, you can sell tier 1/2 villagers and make a lot that way. You can also trade for a pair of valuable hybrids and start breeding those to sell. As far as animal crossing items go, there's almost always someone who will want to buy it!

The island at night is a very quick way but you must be selective and go for the higher priced bugs and scare off the other cheaper ones. If you do it right you can go home with a basket worth at least 350k. Also selling perfect fruit in another town that has a different town fruit, one basket full is worth 27k.
