Easter event question

So as the easter event is coming up, and loads of rocks and ground stars spawn right?

Can the rocks destroy flowers? Because I have a load of hybrids in part of my town, and I don't want them to be destroyed T_T

I don't think they do! I think they spawn in clear spaces like the gem rock does.

Yup; they spawn only in clear spaces. Good thing, too, because they would have destroyed my carnations otherwise.

I heard a long time ago (I'm thinking it was Chuggaa's video series on ACNL) that make sure to destroy all the temporary rocks cuz a glitch may happen where they'll become unbreakable and permanent the following day!

I heard of that on the Wiki, too. It gives a solution to it, but I can't remember what it was.
