Yeah, I know it's not easter yet, but in my game it is. Why? Because I only recently found out that the time is set in year 2013 instead of 2014, and there's no way I'm time-travelling back a whole year and risk losing my villagers for that...

ANYWAY, I've been time travelling a bit in the past few week to plot and camp reset for villagers. I only go one day back or forward at a time, and so in the past few days I've been finding myself playing "egg hunt day" before 1?April (AC's 2013 easter day). I scraped off a few eggs here and there just to get to know how it works, but never did anything with 'em. I just sold 'em because I was waiting to play the event in the day it was actually on.

Which was this week end. But guess what? The day starts, the scary-looking bunny appears, I can find eggs in the water and from the sky presents but that's it. There were NO eggs in rocks, trees or underground. I only found the usual few bells, fossils and minerals. And I remember on the "other" easter days the whole town was FULL of rocks and digging spots.
I went back and forth again, and there were still no new eggs. What the hay. I know that events are not a one-time-only thing, 'cause I ran into April 1? a few times before and everything was as it should've been.

Also I've noticed that for the past 3 weeks or so there are no new fruits on the trees. The apples just won't grow back, no matter how much time goes by. They only grow on newly-planted trees, but once I pick them up, they're gone for good, and if I want more I have to cut the tree down and plant another one.

Is any of this normal? I've looked up the negative effects of time traveling, but nobody told me about this. Did this happen to anyone else? I'm a bit scared O_O

I've also experienced this with my cycling town. No matter how far you TT, if you go back (or forward) to Easter of that year, they won't spawn. I think you can only do it once a year. I'm close to Easter of 2015, so I'll tell you if it doesn't work.

I've never had the fruit thing happen, though. Honestly, I've never noticed any consequences for time traveling. Call me lucky, but I've never lost a villager, gotten bad luck, or any glitches from TTing. 0-0

Hmm... it still sounds weird, but at least there's an explanation for that I guess...

So the only thing I'm still really worried about is the fruit... it should take 3 days, right? I haven't seen any new fruit in weeks now T___T

Unrelated, but you can time travel on the day you stop someone moving as far ahead into the future as you want and no one will move out. Just a tip if you ever wanna get back to present day

Yeah, I heard about that. Thanks for telling me though, I appreciate it :)

Yep, its like to the fool proof cycling method. It totally works. I can second this.
