easiest way to move out a certain villager?

without amiibo, as i need an open plot

i’ve spent the past hour trying to move out judy or olivia, and not one of them have wanted to.

curious, how do you guys easily get out certain villagers? obviously a safe way as i’ve heard sometimes certain ways could corrupt your save data

I usually TT 15 days ahead and look for a bubble. Remember villagers inside could be the one wanting to move. If I don’t see it I keep going forward another day. I keep doing that until it is on who I want gone. I always save my game each day for extra security. Also I feel you need some level of friendship in order for that villager to have the bubble.

i've done a lot of cycling and have landed on a method that works best for me. whether or not you ignore the villagers doesn't seem to be relevent

1. TT 15 days
2. check the whole town for someone moving. if no one is asking to move, TT 1 day at a time until you see a bubble
3. if the bubble isn't above the villager you want, don't talk to them and TT 1 day at a time until it's above the villager you want to get rid of

the above works fine to get anyone with a bubble prompt, but this thread details what i categorically think and have proven through use multiple times - to be the best way to SELECT which villager is moving without undue TTing or hassle, after that initial bubble.

I don't know if this is common knowledge or not, but I figured this out last night so I thought why not share? I repeated this process over ten times until the villager I wanted to move asked to move, so I'm going to share in case it helps anyone else! I've also had this happen to me once...

TT around 2 weeks (15 days), and find a pinging villager. If you don't see any TT 1 day at a time until you do. If it's not the right villager you want, TT another 15 days and keep going until the right villager you want to move moves out.

Also echoing the 15 day ahead method! I've tried multiple methods and this method seems to be the most consistent for me now.
