I want Becky out. I try pushing her, ignoring her, and hitting her with a net but she refuses to leave! She's been in my town since the start and still has never Pinged me before. I wanna try using pitfalls but is that much affective? What's the easiest way to get rid of her? I don't wanna risk loosing any of my other villagers (Except Tammy. Tammy can leave.)

The fastest way is actually to be friendly with her. xD Send her letters with gifts, talk to her a lot and make chores for her too. :)

another option is to start a new character, and then completely ignore them so they don't get on the "friendship ladder" (you have to interact with your other villagers as the side character though.
after about a week (? maybe longer?) they should move out.

i read a guide on this but i didn't bookmark it so if i find it again i'll let you know!

(i used this method and it worked for me with pietro - i tt'd which made the process quicker)

if you want to get a villager out, the best way is to ignore them completely, hitting them, sending "rude" letters, etc. doesnt make them move any faster because your still giving them attention which makes them want to stay, i suggest picking out a villager to talk to every day(the tattletale) then tt-ing about 2 days at a time, if anyone wants to move out then the "Tattletale" will tell you.

I go to Beau every time I want to find out who's moving so that parts easy. I'll try both methods! Thanks for the help :3

Personally, I find that unwanted snooty villagers are kind of like herpes, you can't just ignore them and hope they go away. I believe the method that will work may depend on personality, as it seems as though more snooty villagers will want to move if you are good friends with them. Although admittedly ignoring will sometimes work for certain villagers. I haven't officially tested it, but from my experience I would say ignore uchi, cranky, and normal villagers, and become friends with peppy, snooty, and smug villagers.

If you want somebody out fast, the only real way is to cycle them out. I have a cycling method I use in my main town, if you want any help then just pm me.
Ignoring or being super friendly doesn't seem to make any difference....I've cycled out around 50 villagers and I've seen no pattern, every villager pings me at to move at some point and it's always been entirely random....other than the newest villager who will not move until somebody else has moved in. Sometimes I had my best friend in the town asking to move almost constantly, other times I've had a villager I've spoken to a handful of times asking to leave frequently.

every 4 days or so talk to them once until they ping you to leave.
i usually tt 2 days and then talk to all my dreamies

Thank guys! Becky finally asked to move after cough 5 MONTHS. Now I just have to move Tammy out... :3

You can always use the time travel method. Is effective. Just time travel 2 days in future changing the date with Isabelle, enter the game, save and quit, and return to the date you were originally. Enter the game and look for a villager that wants to go, he will ocasionally pong you, but if not, talk to your villagers, they will tell you who wants to leave. If it is not the one you want you to leave, wait till he/she tells you they want to leave and say no and repeat the process. If it is the one yeah! You did it!

Just a few tips, if the one you want you to leave change his/her mind, resett the game, dont save and quit! Just press the home button and try to look again for the villager, and do the same till he/she accept his/her destiny.

What I did was time travel fours days ahead and usually a villager pings about moving on the third day or right on the fourth day, and sometimes I time travel six days, but that's a bit risky o: you can also try going day by day, it's safe and no random move outs, just keep with the routine and I think Becky will move out some dayyy

Time travel 2 days forward, save quit, and then time travel 2 days back, usually an animal will ping you, it's not guaranteed that it will be Becky, but you should talk to each animal everytime you time travel back the two days, because sometimes animals you like can leave and sometimes will do it unexpectedly, so it's not the best way if you are really worried about losing some of your current animals, but I've only lost one dreamy over this method, you just have to be careful!
