easiest way to get gold nuggets?

I've been breaking fake rocks with my silver shovel for a month now and all i get are ore's thats not gold, mostly they're just pink,green,redand blue.. any way to get a gold nuggets? I like collecting them.. thank you.

The silver shovel's effects are made when hitting a money rock, creating a chance of ores spewing out instead of Bells. Shovel type has no effect on ore rocks.
