Earthquake hits Virginia, felt throughout East Coast

I just felt this, lol. It wasn't really anything but DAMN, THAT **** WAS INTENSE. It was also my first earthquake and the first one on the East Coast in God knows how long. DISCUSS!

It was actually more of a vibration in New York than a tremor but still.

It wasn't anything, but it was intense? I am confuz.
It must've been one hell of an earthquake for it to stretch across about six states and still hit Canada.

It was intense because I like to exaggerate things.

And it could be felt as far away as Detroit

I felt nothing. But the neighboring town got hit pretty hard apparently.

I'm pretty close to the epicenter and I didn't feel it at all.

I was taking a nap and slept through it. :/

My mom said she thought she was having a stroke because the building was shaking. But my brother texted her (he's visiting friends in a place not hit) right after it happened (lasted a whole 20 seconds) asking about the earthquake, and then it was all good.

don't know what the big deal is tbqh. I guess people were more afraid of aftershocks
