Are they really unnecessary ordinances for towns owned by time travelers? I mean, we have an opportunity for people to have more opening hours, but people still time travel.

This thread is for you to voice your opinion on whether these ordinances are okay for time travelers or not.

People who Time Travel, not that there is anything wrong if your prefer to play the game like that, probably wont find much use for these ordinances since those people don't mind changing time in the first place.
Those ordinances where likely designed for people with tight schedules who dont have time/dont wish to time travel. If someones real life schedule requires them to go into work late at night, they would probably prefer the Early Bird Ordinance since its less time wasted that they could be playing the game.
Ive never used either of them however, since I do TT from time to time, because I really like the Beautiful Town Ordinance the best.
But even if you are a TT and want to enact the ordinance, by all means if it saves you time then go for it. I just dont see, overall, it being much use to TT since they can just change the time anyways.

I use the Early Bird during school (except for now, because I'm so messed up with times, it's not relevant to me) and night owl during summer break. I think people time travel for the days, not the times. I see a lot of TTers using the beautiful town one (I used the wealthy, so I could stock up on ore and time travel to an ore-premium day and get hella bells.) Even during summer, I'd still time travel to the day (usually 12) if I was playing at night, because it was prettier.

Even if I'm a time traveler, I enjoy time traveling to the depths of the nights (9 PM and later). I would like shops to be open by then. TTing may make those two ordinances useless, but the town doesn't look as pretty in the daytime as it does at night.

Thats true! I do like Night time more than I do the day. I didnt think about that hm

Well, this is just me. My ordinance is a beautiful town because I am too scared with my flowers. But the ordinances can be handy. I have a friend who I visit often when I get on ACNL, because she has the Night Owl ordinance. Yes she time travels, but doing its everyday is a pain and when you on a schedule...

I mostly come over for things that I can't get in the beautiful town ordinance such as golden roses. I drop the black roses I have bred, and give them to her to turn into gold. I also come over if I need something in the shops (as I also play late, and if I am too late my shop is closed) example medicine, or I need to sell to retail. It's handy if you have a second town. Mainly due to the turnips fact, if one time travels turnips can die. Plus, time traveling puts up the prices from Joan I have heard. But here it kind of fails because you could just time travel in one town to Monday and drop off the turnips you have in your other time to that town. But again the prices.

It's an up and down ordinance, but it can be handy depending on what you need. Plus, haha when we water her flowers it takes awhile. She has a lot and it would be annoying to hybrid breeders. Water 2 flowers alone it has a high chance of breeding for the next day. Water all your flowers, they randomly pick who breeds and have a mess.

I have time travelled in the past because of my lifestyle I wouldn't get the opportunity to take part in all the event or fish, bug catch late at night.

Neither of those work for me as during weekdays I play later than usually due to my studies then on weekends I tend to play in the mornings plus I like the beautiful town ordinance the best as it guarantees none of my flowers will wilt if I don't play for a day or two. So yeah I'd lean more towards the night owl one but then on weekdays and holidays I'd have to wait for the stores to open longer or I'd end up TTing. I only really time travel and hour or so so my shops are opened as I tend to play really late at night.
