Theme: Modern

Grab whatever modern like furniture you have and make a modern room!

Rules

1. You can submit a max of three images of your room but they have to be the same room.
2. Your room must be appropriate for this week's theme.
3. Any photo manipulation is prohibited.
4. The room must be in your town.

Information

Entries will take place August 30th - September 6th
Voting will take place September 6th - September 13th
Winners will be announced September 13th

First place will receive: 200 TBT
Second place will receive: 150TBT
Third place will Receive: 100 TBT

I have a question: what would be accepted as part of the modern theme (on moridb, there's no modern interior theme; I'm guessing it'd be trendy)? I know in my last entry I used items that weren't part of the toy shop or fairy tale theme; for example, I used a refrigerator and stove, but those I used to represent a toy stove and refrigerator, thus, I thought that would be acceptable.

It sounds more like just what you think is modern, not specifically "modern" themed items since they used the phrase "modern-like".

Ooh yeah I like this theme. I have a couple of ideas for what to do with it and now have a clear museum room so I hope I can make something nice.

I really like this idea of having a room of the week, but Mairen would like to make a suggestion of putting all of this in one thread. You could post all the previous winners on the first page, and it would all be neat and organized together. I love looking at other people's room decorating for ideas of my own. I might enter sometime!

I'm not too good with modern. Me and my daughter cracked up laughing when we realized theres an old cash register and phonogragh in this room. Lol. Oh well, theres always next time.

Here's my entry... kind of like a modern office room.

Not sure if quality if okay.. I always get error message on my Miiverse thing, so I had to take a picture of a screenshot with my phone.. xD I resized it cuz size was too big.
I might change a few things later.. If the quality is not good, I'll PM one of the volunteers later when I'm done for sure c:

I think I have a pretty good idea of what I want now. I ordered a lot of stuff, it might take until tomorrow or after to arrive lol.
I've seen other people use some of the same furniture as me though whoops, I hope mine can still be unique. I've mainly used sleek furniture but I'll look through furniture and see if I can add anything else to diversify my room a bit more.
