Durian fruit

Hi

I have a durian fruit (only one though, and I don't want to waste it, hence this thread!) Do I plant it in similar ways to other fruits? ie with nothing in the surrounding squares?

I've done a quick google check and it doesnt appear to be a fruit that needs to go on the beach. Is that correct?

That's right - it works the same way as any other land fruit. It doesn't needed to be planted on the beach, just make sure it's not next to any rocks, buildings or anything else that could stop it from growing.

A good hint for getting the tropical fruits... Lychees, lemons etc...

When you go to the island, play one of the tours, I prefer the gardening game... that's just me; be prepared to lose however. Fill your pockets with the fruit from the tour trees. When you're back at the island office the fruit will still be in your inventory. Just make sure you place it in the basket.

This works for flowers and bugs as well. If you speak to the gyroid next to tortimer you can borrow tools like rods and nets.

Yes, is just a regular tree that has to be planted on your main land, just make sure there is space around it, or you can take trips to the island and make some tours until Durians appears on the tour. Persimmons are the "rare" ones IMO, you need some store upgrades to get it, if im not wrong.
