Duplicate Villagers..

For those of you who have multiple towns, do you have any of the same villagers, so one in each town??
I have Stitches in both Azalea & Parfait
i deliberately sought him out for Azalea, and luckily got him for free of this forum, as i had him in WW and CF and loved him in both
it was just lucky coincidence i got him in Parfait too, especially with Tangy and Tia aswell..
Im not sure whether to keep him in both... but then if he leaves by accident in both towns, having him in the other town is a safe backup, and i wouldnt have to cycle to get him back, as id still see him all the time
But then he could go to someone who loves him too hm
Coincidentally its Stitches birthday today (10th) so thats 2 kiddie shirts ill be giving him

I don't, but that's probably because I only have 1 town.

Even if I had a second copy, I wouldn't want duplicates. There are so many villagers out there! I'd like to have a variety

I don't have a second town, but if I did, I would probably try and avoid duplicates.

Then again, it is sort of a good idea to have a sort of "back-up" of certain villagers.

And no, I do not have multiple copies of villagers. I would like Zell again though, but Marshal's so fun to pick on XD

not in new leaf, but in wild world my brother, sister and i all had buck and we'd all get eachother's versions ;;;; had a lil' buck rotation going on

I have 2 towns. I don't want duplicate villagers at all :/ Why have 2 towns and limit myself to the same villagers? At one point I had 2 Lollys, 2 Mitzis, and 2 Marshals. It was weird and I wanted them to go to someone who had no Lolly, Mitzi, or Marshal.

When I had two i tried not to have duplicates, for the precise reason you identified, which is, if one ends up boxes accidentally, you can move them to the other town. And it confused the heck out of me (i had diana in both towns once, it as so weird)

Only have one copy of NL, but Kiki is currently in my GC, WW, and NL towns and Ribbot in WW, CF, and NL.

I like variety. I even plan on getting rid of bob cause I already have kid cat and don't want two cats.

I wouldn't have planned to have two, just i couldnt exactly delete the town when it had Tia and Tangy in too!

I'm getting a second copy soon. I'll use it for cycling at first so I'll auction off or give away any duplicates I may get. Once I establish a proper 2nd town, I won't want any duplicates. I think it'll be fun experimenting with the 2nd town and experiencing a lot of new villagers. I'd kinda get bored to have permanent duplicates in my town.
