I gave my first perfect fruit (orange) away to a villager that asked for one (and then subsequently had to turn down every single one that asked for a perfect fruit after that). I never got another one back. I had to try to buy some on this site so I could plant trees.
I also push my villagers around a bit to try to get them to interact/talk to each other. This ends badly sometimes if I don't space out the breaks between pushing, and I end up making them upset. (I feel guilty even though they're fictional. They sound so SAD.)
Aside from that, sometimes I drop things into my path patterns by accident and they disappear. My character looks accordingly shocked when this happens.
- Go into Re-Tail right when a villager pings me. Too late...Q_Q
- Accidentally dig up a bush/flower/tree stump because of misaim
- Running and killing a hybrid
- Forget to go to a villager's house or wait at mine whenever they visit and vice versa
- Plan what to do with one character, then completely forget about it
I did, too. I think a year is about how long it took for my town to grow another one on its own.
I don't trample flowers very often but I have a bad habit of accidentally digging them up if they're next to whatever it is I'm actually trying to dig up.
