DS Lite or DSi?

Is it true that there are going to be DSi specific games coming out? I read somewhere about there being DS/DS lite cartridges and DSi cartridges.

Will the DSi have a better graphics or sound engine than the DS/DS lite?
The DSi has the same graphics, but it has higher hardware specs and bigger speakers, which make the sound sound a lot better.

Ha I knew the black one is better *runs off smugly to tell Aaron*

*Cough* For the people who have bad eyesight... get glasses I'm short sighted and I had to live with it with a small screen >.>

I was hoping that DSi games would at least come halfway close to that of a great looking psp game. It seems more like they are just referring to things like the camera and sound recorder.

I actually wish I had of just stuck with my DS Lite instead of buying a DSi for the sake of having it.

But if you have a GBA or something and money to put in to it, then get a DSi but if not, it's not all that great.

lol, yeah, talk of that is forbidden, and I'd say just go for the DS Lite, cheaper and if you just wanna play older games and can go without some of the fancy DSi features, the DS Lite is great.

Wait on the DSi XL. Even if you enjoy GBA games, most people still have an SP laying around, but if not, you can find one at GameStop for under 50 dollars (I think). Plus, Nintendo will release the GameBoy Virtual Console eventually.

Go for a DSi if you have a GBA,GBA SP, or GBA Micro. You can also wait to see if this rumored "DS 2" is going to be unveiled at E3 and come out this year. The choice is yours.

A DS 2? I figured that the DSi was gonna be the last of the DS family...what would be the point of trying to come out with a DSi and even sooner, a DSi XL, then turn around and make a DS 2? I believe that's fake, sorry.

I know, one of the first DSIWare games was a warioware that used the camera. Also it didn't work.

Compare the DSi to the iPhone.

There may be an iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone3G (if I recall correctly), but they're still just iPhones.

Yeah, you'd figure they'd get it right the first time, but hey people keep buying them ;P.

DS Lite was really the only upgrade in my opinion and more than enough to meet my needs.
