I dont care if theyre 100% because once I get them im going to give them new clothes and furniture anyway. Its really just about having the villager to me <3
Also I dont play with sound so if they sing their old town tune I wouldnt even hear it.
I prefer the villagers who have unorderable shirts to be original. I don't mind about the originality of their house or catchphrase because I am an active dive reset trick-er and I would like to decorate their houses.
I don't care whether they are new or not. If I want someone in my town, it matters not at all what shirt they are wearing or what phrase they are using. I want them for them, if that makes sense. And I agree with what another user said; I find it charming when villagers speak fondly of their old town or play the old tune. Makes them appear to have a history they look back on fondly and that makes me happy
I remember adopting a dreamie from a mayor once, and they kept apologizing that the villager wasn't original, I wasn't fussed at all since like many have mentioned in the thread so far I'm just stoked to have a dreamie in my town!
I do understand that it makes quite a difference for some people though, so I do take extra care of retaining of the originality of a villager that I know I'll be trading away at some point.
I really don't care for originality. Sure it's a plus, and yay if they are original. But I just love the villager themselves. Honestly, I like it when they're unoriginal too... It shows the changes they've been through in the previous towns and the history they have. I think it makes them more original, if anything! (Hah, does that make sense?)
