One of my dream villagers just parked their house in the worst spot. It's right in front of the bridge so I have to go round it every time. If I did the 'controlling where houses appear' method even though its too late, would the villager change? At the moment it's still a fenced off area so it's too late to reset right? Because I'm playing on my mayor. Hamprey why x_x

Its too late unfortunately.
If I were you I'd try working around it. Maybe move the bridge.
I let my Ankha go because her house was preventing me from building an important bridge. Its hard but had to do it D;

Dang. I had my mind on trades so I immediately loaded my mayor. My river is really awkward so I can't move the bridge because my river goes down like steps and its the only place where a bridge fits. Thanks anyways though ^_^

Darn, that's a shame. Hamphrey is one of my villagers and a dream villager as well! Hopefully you'll be able to do something to make it livable...if not then you might have to let him move and try to get him again :/

If I were you though, I would keep him and just try to make the best of an annoying situation! At least you got him! :)

demolish the bridge and build it on another spot?

Like I said before my river is awkward because it goes down like steps but the bridge was there when I started the game. Luckily it wasn't the one I chose to build otherwise it would of been a waste of bells. I don't have enough so I can't build another >_<
