So I plan on creating my dream town which I want to have a modern theme. I have layed out a basic path throughout the town but I am not satisfied with it. There is LOTS of open space which I feel like there is no other option but to plant trees and shrubs.

In addition, the villagers are just EVERYWHERE! They move onto the places where I try to place stuff. The only wanted villager I have right now is Julian who is in a perfect spot.

Furthermore the path I have layed out is just damright bugging me; the way it just goes through the town annoys me. And if I knew where and how to lay it out I would!

My dream town is just turning into a nightmare and I need help to sort it out please!!!

If you wish to visit , my dream address is 6600-6061-6213.

I desperately need feedback on what I can do to solve everything so please post below your thoughts on what I can do!

I'll have a dream about your town now and then give you some feedback~

Has your dream address been recently updated?

I can tell you without seeing your town that one of the biggest problems is that you have villagers you don't want in bad spots. My suggestion would be to cycle them out for your actual dreamies. You can go about obtaining your dream villagers by either:

A: Getting them through the campsite and using the reset trick to get them in a perfect spot. This can take a long time because campsites don't usually spawn.

B: Getting them here on Bell Tree. This is a the most quick way but will cost a lot of bells judging by your dreamie roster. You should plot reset using the reset trick for this, as well.

C: If you time travel correctly, which would be going day by day at the beginning of your cycling so Julian doesn't move out, eventually a non-dreamie will move and there will be a ten day period which you can time travel to guarantee a 100% chance of having a villager on the tenth day. This is also quick, but there is no guarantee you will get the dreamie you want in a good spot.

Also, if a villager of one type moves out, the same type won't move in after. Example: a cranky moving out will make it so another cranky won't replace it as a move in.

If you are unfamiliar with the reset trick, I suggest researching it. It's really useful.

tl;dr I hope this helps!

Thank you. I am familiar with the reset trick and cycling villagers out and I know that my dreamies will cost a lot however the cost is my least concern as I have already saved 100 million bells which I am sure can cover all the fees. I understand that if I cycle correctly then Julian won't move out but I'm too worried that if I do this then i'll make some sort of mistake and Julian will move out. It's happened before in my previous town.

I understand. That's why I suggested going a day at a time for a while, just take it slow and make absolute sure Julie won't move out. If he is good friends with you, his chance of moving will be higher however. I can give you a lot of advice on doing this if you want, I have been cycling for years. :)

I love the QR path you've chosen. I also don't really have any issues with where you've placed it. I mean, it seems like the reason your town might seem unsatisfactory to you right now is simply due to the fact that other than the path you've laid down, the rest of your town is really underdeveloped. Hardly any flowers, very few PWPs that I can see...all the things that make a town feel complete are missing. No one is satisfied with their town at first, especially when they don't have all the villagers they want yet, or all the PWPs they want, or all the flowers/trees/bushes where they want them. All those "empty spaces" you mentioned in the first post will eventually be filled with PWPs and greenery. You just have to use your imagination in the beginning to "fill" those spaces temporarily, since you don't have everything you need yet.

So, my main advice is to just give your town some time. I've been working on Noveon for 2 years and the layout is still only 95% complete. You'll be filling those bothersome "empty spaces" for a long, long, long time. ACNL is a game that requires lots of patience :D

I hope I was a bit helpful. Anyway, do you plan on plot resetting to make sure your dreamies houses are all in good spots?

hack
or plot reset your villagers lol

No

Yea I plan on doing that I mean I didn't even have to do that for Julian. He moved in randomly in a good spot so I was pleased with that.

Just hacking :p

Question for those who visited my town, what can I do with the area of the town left of Re-tail? And where can I put my police station?
