~Dreaming of Whoville~

House/s: ~Crystie's house~ The refurbished rococo series in the main room (still not a fan of that yellow colour, to be honest) with the other random items incorporated was good. What I liked about it was that it felt full without being crowded. The room to the left felt slightly less cohesive. The classic furniture looked good with the editor's desk because you'd refurbished it dark, but that step dresser thing just seemed like a funny colour in with everything else. Also, most of your furniture is against the walls. The back room was charming. I'm not really sure what it is, but it's cute. It's sort of like an outdoor cafe. It reminds me of that first episode with Clara and the 11th Doctor, (not the Christmas special, the other one mid way through season 7). I forget what it's called. I hope you know what I'm talking about. The right room; Tardis furniture. Awesome! Oh, and the bowl of bananas. PLEASE tell me that was intentional? I hope it was. If so, that is so funny. The back wall with the window and the middle of the room feel a bit empty, though. It almost seems like there's room for the Tardis to land right inside. The kitchen upstairs feels warm and, like the first room, I feel like you've used your space really well. Downstairs was sort of tropical and balmy while still being relaxing. It was almost resort-like. I don't personally think you made the right decision with the cloud flooring and sky wall, though.

~Eleven's house~ Hmm... Don't tell me the eleventh Doctor turned into a cowboy after he retired? I suppose there was that one episode where he was a cowboy. That was in season seven, too. The downstairs room is cute and bubbly. I feel as though there needs to be more furniture in it, though. It's a shame there's nothing upstairs. That could have been a cute space.

~Ten's house~ Okay now, this is the kind of typical sci-fi outer space stuff you'd expect of Doctor Who. You have a lot of big things in this room, and I think that a lot of furniture would have made it feel crowded. The room on the left, you could almost make it feel like the centre console. Not exactly, of course, but roughly resemble it. Ah, the robo-series. Very appropriate. The lamp is giving the room a weird quality. I guess that?s not your fault, though. Also, again I feel that there?s not enough furniture in the middle of the room. The right room, it?s obviously not fully expanded. I think with more space and more furniture, it could become a nice room. The astro room upstairs is a good start, but you already have the CD player in there and I feel like you just need some atmospheric music. Maybe K.K. Adventure or K.K. Synth. Aww, and you've got him in the navy suit and everything. Those 3-D glasses remind me of the final episode of season two. That's the second closest I've ever been to crying during Doctor Who.

~Donna's house~ She used to be my second (sometimes first, it depended on the day) favourite companion, but then they brought in Clara and I got so confused about which one I liked. Oh my God, that Dalek dress! That is SO funny. I feel like there's a general lack of furniture, though. Upstairs... I'm thinking that creepy library level where Tennant meets River Song for the first time? Just a thought.

PWPs and town layout: I love the area with the zen lamp and the yellow bench with the lake around it. That was nice. I like how you've used a lot of zen PWPs. I would almost classify your town as advanced rather than intermediate. The area with the bus stop, water jet and fountain was really beautiful.

Additional comments: The wooden path near the plaza is cute, and there was the most stunning aurora in the sky. Your use of bushes, flowers and bamboo is really good. I love paths that have been lined. There are so many parts of your town that I loved. Some of the links to Doctor Who are so obvious; the Tardis furniture, the face-cutout standee of the eleventh Doctor etc, and some of them were less so, like the bowl of bananas and the astronauts in the library. For my picture of my favourite part of town, it was hard to pick. I ended up opting for my shot with the standee (ironic because I'm ginger at the moment).

I just have one thing left to say... "I don't want to go." (Get it? Saddest modern Doctor Who moment of all time.)

~Thank you for letting me dream of Whoville~

~Dreaming of TheRealm~

House/s: ~Fun Zone's house~ Your main room is whimsical and fun. I like it. It's sort of like an arcade/ games room. The sci-fi room to the left is pretty neat. I don't know that I would classify it as a "fun zone" but I guess I could see it as being a novelty room or something like that. The room to the right is really fun. It's sort of carnival like, or like a little kids' playroom *** birthday celebration space. The birthday room upstairs is definitely fun, but I feel like it needs some balloons and/ or some music or something to give it a bit more atmosphere.

~Inn & Spa's house~ The outside looked very resort-like. I really like the main room. It's very calming, and I feel as though you've used the space very well. The room to the left had the same effect. I'm wondering if this room isn't fully expanded? It just seems smaller. In any rate, I feel as though the size makes it feel cozy. The room to the right - ah, very sleek. I like this room a lot. What resort would be complete without its own gym? Upstairs is small, and feels sort of like a place where you'd go to get a massage or something like that.

~McKenzie's house~ Ooh, the outside is so beautiful. Must... Go... Inside...! Hmm, the Pave series, not exactly what I expected. The layout of the room is really good, but this is the only room where I feel as though the inside and outside haven't really matched. The bathroom is beautiful. I'm so glad the whirlpool bath has made an appearance in your town. I was hoping to see it in the previous house, but I think it suits really well in here, too. I love your kitchen. It's maybe a bit lacking in colour, but I'm guessing you did that on purpose. Nevertheless, it's a brilliant room. I've snapped a couple of photos of it for when I do Declahn's house. I'm carrying the shades of grey, black and white through his house and what you've done in that room looks awesome. Upstairs is cute.

~NiteLife's house~ The main room is so smooth. I like it. I love the colours you've carried through. I'm thinking there should be a mannequin somewhere, though. Maybe on the other side of the gorgeous counter. The room to the left. Yeah, I was waiting to see some karaoke. That is so awesome. I love that it still kind of matches the main room, and I think using the cityscape wallpaper was genius in creating that "night life" effect. I like the room to the right a lot in terms of layout and how it all flows, but I don't know if it fits the same theme as the rest of the house. It reminds me more of casual lunch time dining rather than evening. The bathroom was neat.

PWPs and town layout: Your town layout, I mean, it's just perfect. Everything is all lined up. It's so neat and tidy. Your paths are all nice and wide, they're really easy to follow, and the flowers around the edges just makes it so beautiful. It's neat and tidy. I've never seen anything quite like it. You didn't have a lot of PWPs. I thought your town was very restrained. In terms of planning, this is literally the best town I've ever seen.

Additional comments: I really like the path around your plaza. It's beautiful. The trees and flowers around the edges are lovely. Your paths are three squares wide in most places and it's so easy to follow. Everything flows and it all just feels so perfect. It took me a while to find my favourite place. I ended up going with the collection of PWPs near all the houses on the southern part of town. (It's actually two pictures because I couldn't get it all in one)

By the way, I've moved your town from Intermediate to Professional. This is because I don't think it's fair to compare your town against the Intermediate ones. I was going to move it to Complete, especially since there is only one entry in that category so far, but I figured that if you thought your town was finished, you would have put it in that category yourself.

~I'm not taking any new requests after Boo_is_Dead. I'm sorry that I keep extending the date. I promise I will review all of your towns, but I'm currently two months away from sitting my HSC exams, so I'm struggling to find the time. As you can see, my reviews are quite long and they do take a lot of time. Thank you all so much for being so patient with me~

Thanks for the review! I have made quite a bit of progress since my last dream update, but I kept forgetting to update lol. I think my last dream update was a week or 2 ago lol. Nathan and Daniel's houses haven't been worked on apart from upgrading from a tent. I am working on upgrading Tori's house right now. I am not quite sure what I want to do with the pwp layout. I know that I want to buy a police station, but am not quite sure where I want to place it. Where do you suggest?

Hi all, I know it's been a while since I last posted. I was caught up with school and work. I appreciate that everyone has been so understanding and patient. I'm just posting to update you on each of the categories. At the moment, each of the following categories has the following entries;

Hopefully I will be able to finish the rest of the reviews by next weekend. Thank you all so much for your understanding and co-operation.

I'm a bit confused, is this still going on? Either way I shall enter :3.. I remember posting on your older (?) thread?

It's a bit hard for me to categorize Tricera since I lack alot of pwps that I have planned to put down and I still haven't decided about what I'm gonna do with flowers around town so its kind of messy. I also haven't touched a single room yet.

If you take only one at a time please take Tricera, that's the one id like advice on

~Dreaming of Lilbird~

House/s: ~Nix's house~ I'm not really sure what I think of that main room. I feel as though you could have been a tad more adventurous. Also, there was a lot of stuff in there and it just felt a little bit crowded. If you're looking for suggestions, maybe reduce the amount of furniture and spread the greenery a little more to break up the pink and purple of the Harvest series. If you like it the way it is, by all means, don't change it. That's just my opinion. The room to the left just feels... sort of weird. I don't know... Don't get me wrong, I'm all for mixing and matching furniture series. I like it better than just having one straight set in each room, but I also think that you need to plan each room so that you know what you want from it. This room just looks a bit disjointed and awkward. It looks like you're trying to score high with the HHA, which isn't a problem if that is what you're doing, but remember that your house really needs some kind of unique flare. The back room is slightly more cohesive. I mean, basically everything is green. At the same time, though, I have no idea what this room is. It almost looks like a guest room when you walk in, but then there's a random bath, a phone box, a giant panda, and I'm wondering what all this stuff is doing in the same room. The soft green colour palette is really good, though. The kiddie room to the right is quite soft and beautiful. It seems almost like a nursery, but it does feel a little bit cramped. Also, it's missing a few vital things, like a crib. It is an adorable room, though. Upstairs, okay, we're back to this again. I still feel as though you need to be a bit more adventurous in your styling. Unless you're trying to create a hotel feel or whatever, why would you have a bed in every room? It's a fantasy town, so I suppose it doesn't need to be functional, but I had the most fun with Mayor Lia's house when I was designing the more elaborate rooms; the kitchen and bathroom mainly. Just consider it as a possibility. It makes the house more exciting. Downstairs is sort of oppressive and creepy. *Runs away*

~Cicily's house~ Hmm, that's an odd combination of contraptions. Do you have any particular vision for this house? That's not intended to be cruel, I'm just curious. I know it can be hard to decide what to do with a house sometimes. If you don't have any, I would suggest posting on the Animal Crossing: New Leaf forum. People are really good there at offering suggestions.

~Bee's house~ There's not really much to comment on here. You've obviously only just started, so I'm not going to judge too harshly. I just think you need to find a style you like and carry it through your house.

PWP's and town layout: The tulip topairy near Nix's house just seemed a little randomly placed. I think your zen clock looks a little lonely and awkward. It's a clock, so could you place it in a more communal and central area? The placement of your lighthouse was good. The fairy-tale streetlight and bench looked beautiful with the pink and white flowers and the illuminated heart, but you were using the zen-themed PWPs in other parts of your town. Is there a reason for this? Actually, the further into your town I go, the more I realise this is a common thing. You've got modern and zen and fairy-tale as well as a few other items that don't have a specific theme all chucked in together, randomly, in one area of your town, and the rest of it is bare. I feel like you need to think about, and plan this more.

Additional comments: That's an interesting path you've got going on. I'm thinking it might be a tad busy, though. It just seemed like there was a lot going on. The bamboo, flowers, trees and bushes around it is a good idea, but I felt as though it was a little bit messy. I appreciated that there were a lot of flowers, trees and bushes around. They seemed thoughtlessly placed in some cases, but in others, they created a very nice and welcoming feel. Are you planning on running your path through your entire town? I always think that the best way to make sure you see everything is to follow the path, and then it just randomly stopped.
Overall, for an advanced town, I can see that you're sort of on the right track. What I think you need to do is either start a thread for suggestions and/ or reviews of your town so that people can help you out. It makes a difference hearing the opinions of others. You won't agree with everyone, but it's helpful. I also think you really just need to plan a little more. What you've got already is good, it just needs some development and tidying up. My favourite area was the fairy-tale themed PWPs with the heart and the flowers. I'll upload that to my initial post.

~Thank you for letting me dream of lilbird~

I'm achieving an all cubs town but those octopus are so cute. Just waiting for 3 non-cub villagers bar the octopuses to move so I can lay the final PWPs. Made a residential island but Stitches is behind my house because he is my ultimate villager. And permanent PWPs are placed carefully. I love the camp between two ponds. So there it is. Hope you like it.

Dreaming of Pandi~

House/s: ~Kino's house~ This is the first town I've visited with just one house. I'm so excited to go inside! ...Woah... That's a WHOLE LOT of Christmas! Christmas is one of my favourite holidays, along with Halloween, and I was glad that you had devoted some space to a table with food, since that's what I think about when I think of Christmas; lunch with the family. It's a shame you don't have a turkey or anything. There's a lot of red in there, and the lighting is a bit awkward. The layout is pretty good, though. You've used all the space without making it feel crowded, but in terms of what that room is, seriously, what is it? It's sort of like a lounge room-***-dining hall. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I mean, that's Christmas, right?
I had a feeling the next room I went into was going to be really relaxing... how peculiar. I love the Japanese theme in this room. It's a nice little space, tightly packed like Japanese rooms are.
A big dining space, awesome! Still no turkey, though. I seriously dislike those tiles and that wallpaper, but the game doesn't offer much variety when it comes to a kitchen. I liked how the kitchen and dining spaces were separate, but I personally don't like the colours of the furniture. That's just me being fussy. I also feel like the room doesn't really match. There's a bit of ranch, a few classic items, the general kitchen stuff, some other random things... also, that song is really annoying. I'm also wondering why there's a randomly placed screen? I mean, I get you want to separate the two spaces, but I don't think using a screen is the best way to do it. Just an opinion, that's all.
*Announcer voice* AAANNNDDD now! The big reveal! The best room in the house! Ladies and gentlemen! I present... *cue drum roll and carnival music* the kids' room *** carnival space! Sorry, it was an opportunity too good to be missed. It's a fun room, if maybe a little crowded, but hey, it's a kids' room. There needs to be stuff everywhere. I can't help but think that there might be a bit too much going on, though. I mean, the kiddie stuff is vibrant as it is, then you've got a TV, a music player, the colourful wheel... It's a lot to take in. Would you maybe consider having less furniture in there? Just a thought.
Upstairs: Ooooh, a second-storey view! Classy. The mix of furniture is a bit odd, but you've got just the right amount. I know this is going to seem weird, but it's a believable space. No sense of verisimilitude needed. I feel like you should have opted for more executive style furniture, though. I mean, there's a king in there, and then a single, green bed, a plain white sofa, a boxy TV... sorry if I sound snobby. I'm just thinking aloud. The distribution of space is the best out of all the rooms I've seen so far.
Downstairs is majestic. It's like an Honourary Hall of Fame. I feel like you need some drama music down there or something for atmosphere. The spotlights are genius because of the way they cast light. Very heavenly.

PWPs and town layout: The area around the illuminated arch is really cool. It's a shame you didn't have trees on both sides. I love when people do that. The minion standee was so cute, with the glasses next to it. I couldn't resist snapping a picture. And seriously, your landscaping :-O I'm in awe. Care to give a girl some tips?
I'm guessing you did a lot of plotting because all your villager houses are together down the bottom of town creating a "village cluster". That's really cute. I wish I had the right layout to do that in my own town :-( The PWPs near your house look really good, too. You're right, the campsite between the two ponds is really nice. And the solar panel on the other side looks seriously awesome. I like the PWPs around the town hall. It creates a very "Central area to this town" sort of feel, especially with the plaza so close.

Additional comments: Straight away, I like your town plaza. It was a nice way to arrive in your town. The path is good, though I'm guessing Redd had been since there's a big gap in it, and the bushes are cute. I love your path work, ramps, trees and landscaping around the plaza. It looks awesome. I love how even though you've used three completely different paths, the colours all correspond, so they match. Ugh, I couldn't even pick a favourite area! There were too many. I've just gone with my minion snapshot. Seriously, the work you've done in Pandi is amazing.

Thank you for letting me dream of Pandi~

Wow thank you for your awesome review of my town. I'll take consideration of your comments of my house. Yeah there are a lot of awkward moments there so maybe some make-overs are most welcome.

Town pwp are still incomplete, Marina is being stubborn to move-out :( After that I can finally finish my town.

And I am thrilled you like my town. Thank you for the visit.
