Hello everyone!

I hope this is the right place to ask hahah ^^; I'm on a Christmas break at the moment, so I'm planning to take one commission for TBT bells. However I have no idea how much to charge!

I'm thinking maybe a coloured picture with one or two characters, with background for the commission. (It can be either fullbody or waist up, though waist up would be cheaper)

These are some examples of what I can do:

Any pricing suggestion would be very much appreciated! Thank you for looking :D

I would suggest you do an art auction with the starting bid 1k-2k tbt, and the buyout 8k-10k tbt. c'x

A while ago I remember somebody doing a one-off commission auction, their artwork was unique and cute. But they were looking for in game bells, I think somebody offered something like 60mil bells it was certainly a big amount, considering you put a lot of work into your art (I saw that your contest entry was 60+ hours or something)and that it's stunning - if I had tbt I would pay you thousands xD

I FOUND THE ARTIST WHO DID THE AUCTION WELL I FOUND THEIR TUMBLR BUT WHATEVER

Link is here to one of their pieces ~

You could actually open up shop online and sell your art for real money. They're really good. :)

Oh wow was is really? ;u; I'd love to see the piece c: I really love their style with the small dotted tool effect thing

Ahh thank you so much for your suggestions guys!! Sorry for taking forever to reply, I was kind of having internet troubles ^^;

@Lillie: Hnng you're too kind! ;u; *shrinks into a ball* I'm also ready to throw my TBT bells to commission you :P

@Antlers: Eep you found my post in the showcase area *hides xD*
Really glad to hear you liked my entry too! It was a blast to work on so it was great to hear someone enjoyed it :D
Though, about 30% of those 60 hours were spent fussing on details, getting frustrated and repainting everything again and again ahahah *hides in shame*

Oh gosh I checked the links you posted and that artist's style is really amazing. Their realism kind of reminded me of http://xhxix.tumblr.com/. Definitely someone to follow, thanks again for the links!

@kesttang: Ahh thank you, I'm flattered to hear that! I'm not confident to accept rl commission yet, so I plan to test with TBT bells first. Maybe after several TBT commissions I can try taking rl commission as well! :D

@shiro: I agree with Antlers, that style is amazing!! If you found your commission I'd love to take a look *u*

I think I'll do an auction then
Sorry if this is a silly question, but does an auction has to have a buyout price? (I'm definitely an auction noob)

Nope, it's up to you if you want to have a buy out or not. :) The only auction rule I can think of is that you can't change the end-date of the auction after it's started unless you put it in your first post somewhere that it's subject to change/or you 'reserve the right' to change it.

Good luck with your auction!

What I wouldn't give to be as talented as you. You should definitely hold an auction. And, like someone else said, you could even sell your art for real money.
