Shari had a thought bubble. I talked to her, and she wanted to call me june bug! I love that name. But when I went to select “yes,” my joycon drift caused me to say no.

I am seriously bummed out. Is there any way I can get her to think again so the prompt comes back up? I already exited the conversation, sadly.

Once you're good enough friends with them and reject a nickname they come up with they'll ask you what nickname you want! Then you can just type it in.

It always bugs me when I accidentally shake my fruit trees by accident. Normally, I would just press home and close the game losing unsaved changes.

If I see Shari with another thought bubble, am I able to reset it so it goes to a nickname prompt?

Ugh, I’m so mad. Shari’s stuck to calling me “goalie” still. I love Dom and that’s the only reason why I let him call me that in the first place, and now most of my other villagers call me it.

Lol, I have joy con drift as well! I was afk for a minute in Animal Crossing, and suddenly my avatar started to slowly walk without me touching the joy cons! I think it’s due to me mashing my buttons on SSB and overwatch XD, but yeah I’m pretty sure you can change your nickname in the long run!

So apperantly, Nintendo just apologized for the joycon drift so that means they know about it. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon or release better joycons soon
