A friend has got me hooked on trying the Dragon Age games, and I plan on getting it the first two, Origins and Awakening, before I get into Inquisition. I don't have any consoles like Xbox or Playstation, I just have my 3DS and my PC. Is gameplay much different on the PC version? Is it better to start from Origins or should I just dive right into Inquisition? What's your favorite out of the 3 so far?

I love Inquisition! I really wish I would have played Origins and Dragon Age 2 first, though. You can dive right into Inquisition if you want to like I did, but from what I hear, the other two games are amazing and worth playing. Plus, you'll gain a better understanding of the universe by playing them all in order.

I play on the 360, so I don't know what the PC's like. ;-;

Gameplay is MUCH MUCH MUCH better on PC. Bioware actually built a UI meant for PC in Origins. The other games, however, do not have a PC centric UI then again they aren't really worth playing either.

I've played DA:O on both PS3 and PC. My experience with it on PC was 10x better because of access to mods that improved glitches, made it look smoother, etc but I also have a gaming PC so it depends on the specs of your computer I guess. Though DA:O is fairly old now, I think, but yeah.

I didn't finish Awakenings but I had it for PC and it was fine. People are divided on DA2, I only played a couple hours before losing interest. I'm playing DA:I on console (PS4 aww yiss) and loving every moment. Honestly, the only difference that jumps out at me immediately is that on PC you can mod stuff and on console you can't (or maybe you can but I'm not messin' with that lol). It depends how much you want to customize your game, if at all. If you don't care about that and just want to play the games vanilla, it doesn't matter where/how you do it, as far as I know.
