Through it all,
No matter the price,
The mayor of Eva will never abandon her town.
She can make it better,
She knows she can. She has to.
With caring villagers
Like a family in the town,
The mayor must make sure all are happy and cared for.
She is married to her town,
Through sickness (of her villagers) and in health,
For richer or poorer,
For lucky and unlucky days (as she trips over her own feet )
For days when the Nook shop is still young,
When hedgehogs are unfriendly and shy,
When Tom Nook is a greedy, money grubbing raccoon- I mean, exemplary real estate agent,
Through sadness and joy,
She will continue to care for her town
Simply because the town cares for her.
When friends are unfaithful,
Parents are arguing,
Budgets are slim and wispy,
Grades make her doubt herself,
Through it all,
She can escape to her town,
Her home.
