Don't you think we should've gotten the Japanese keyboard as well?(Language Barrier)

For whenever you go on club tortimer INT'L you occasionally run into a japanese player, but you can't really talk to them unless they know romaji or know well enough english. All we have is like Greek, Russian and a few other languages.

No. Because I could easily see people just posting random characters of the Japanese language and not even know what they're saying or doing xD
But it's mandatory in most Japanese schools to learn basic English, so I see why they get an English keyboard. But Japanese is not a mandatory subject/language in most, if not all, English speaking languages

true.xD

Well they write with numbers and other silly things but that doesnt mean they are going to take us the chance to use the languages we speak. I also hate not having the kana in my 3DS because I didnt crack my head learning japanese to write in romaji o_o ... -end rant-

I can dream the day Nintendo updates software so we can select our keyboards. :c

IKR!!! I was really surprised the 3DS only had 3 languages compared to the DS lite which had a good 6 Including Japanese!

Sure, let's also have the Korean keyboard and the Russian keyboard while we're at it.

I don't see why we need the Japanese keyboard. Sure, it'd be nice for the people who play the game in Japanese, but I don't think there's that much of a demand to justify it.

Yeah. I feel like a jerk when I have to make the Japanese speak in English and I can't even try to be nice by using Kana.

I just wish the 3DS wasn't regioned. :( That's why the DS lite had so many language options, we got the same DS lite that the Japanese speaking people got! Regioning is for greedy companies, so I can't believe Nintendo would go that route this time!!

The russian keyboard is already in the game.

I'm actually learning Japanese, so I would've loved a Japanese keyboard. I made a Japanese friend online the other day, so it would've been awesome to talk/learn with her...

Is there enough demand to justify having the Japanese keyboard in the NA or EU versions of the game?

Lately all smartphones come with every language on earth, I dont see why a big company like Nintendo couldn't do that.

I wished Japanese was included, I had to resort to this LOL.
I had to make it short to fit.

Yeah, I mean if you give one keyboard, people are just going to want other keyboards to communicate to EVERYBODY. All Japanese players I've met on the island were able to type distinguishable English. But in reality, I never really bother to communicate on CT no matter who I am with. :P

STILL not answering the question. Is there a big enough demand?

If there's a big enough demand to have them on all smartphones, despite many not needing those keyboards on their smartphones, then there's definitely enough people out there that would make use of multiple keyboards in ACNL.

I would have liked a Japanese keyboard to communicate with my Japanese friends in the NA version. It's awkward using romanji.

Phone to call people and talk =/= game console used to play games

It would be great to have more keyboard options. I don't see what's the problem into HAVING them, on the other hand, not having them is sure a bit of a pain on CT for me and many other.
